NathansMommy727
UGH same problem with me. I installed the plugin correctly, and as soon as my brush hits the canvas, boom, it crashes. I don't think anyone has successfully used this plugin with the version we have. I hope someone can help me, I really want to use them! JJ2
This is sooooo cool. Thanks everyone for the brushes--I finally got them to work I was installing them wrong..I unzipped them into effects and that was it, BUT then I remember someone saying to install in your C:/ paint.net/custombrushes folder in documents..right. ( excuse an old woman for being so computer illiterate  ) anyway i unzipped them again in my documents file under C:/paint.netuserfiles/custombrushes and voila--there they were! I almost fell off my chair when i opened pdn and tried them out and they all worked..I'm so happy Thankyou Simon and all of you who create these brushes..very cool. And thanks Miguel for the heads up on version  Here's a jumbled copy of my first experiment with some of them. I know--looks like a 5 yr olds composite drawing,lol..but it was just so exciting ..now i can go draw and paint something thats not going to burn everyones eyes out...lol. Andrew D
DisposableBase is a class from Paint.NET v3.5/4.0. Someone's compiling against the wrong version I laughed at this. Heck, first BolBait posting a CodeLab script on a unreleased version, now Simon posting a plugin which uses the wrong version of PDN. What next? EDIT: And RevertedLogic, did you go to the NM forums? I remember someone with that exact username from there.

SG 9K
I seem to be having a problem with your (great) plug-in. I've probably messed up massively, but who doesn't at some point . My problem is that after I try to use the plug-in, Paint.NET chashes. I use a Windows XP, and put the .dll in the effects folder, like normal. I've probably screwed up so bad on this . Thanks in advance to anyone who helps. I'm using the current version of the plug-in, 5.1.2 .
Simon Brown
Any votes for adding an installer to the next version to get-rid of any confusion? It would be packaged as an EXE file in the same archive as the DLLs and depend on them (rather than storing the data as a resource). The firefox extension would also be included in this package which the installer would ask the user whether they wish it to be installed. The user could then choose how to install the plugins. There would be the obvious problem of no RCI support, for a start.
