  1. This is sooooo cool. Thanks everyone for the brushes--I finally got them to work I was installing them wrong..I unzipped them into effects and that was it, BUT then I remember someone saying to install in your C:/ paint.net/custombrushes folder in documents..right. ( excuse an old woman for being so computer illiterate  ) anyway i unzipped them again in my documents file under C:/paint.netuserfiles/custombrushes and voila--there they were! I almost fell off my chair when i opened pdn and tried them out and they all worked..I'm so happy Thankyou Simon and all of you who create these b
  2. Sorry guys--I almost had the brushes working and my PDN crashed again. I started drawing a vine and as soon as I let go of the brush, it crashed I also emailed the crashlog. This text file was created because Paint.NET crashed. Please e-mail this file to crashlog@getpaint.net so we can diagnose and fix the problem. Application version: Paint.NET v3.36 (Final Release build 3.36.3158.38068) Time of crash: 10/19/2008 9:57:00 PM Application uptime: 00:04:11.0781250 OS Version: 5.1.2600.131072 Service Pack 2 Workstation x86 .NET version: CLR 2.0.50727.1433 x86, FX 2.0 2.0SP1 3.0 3.0SP1
  3. I love your work MadJik,wow---I could only wish to get that good. Do you really believe you can teach an old dog new tricks? I'm turning 51 soon..I am only beginning to learn PDn. Its so cool. I have tried psp and other paint programs but this totally RAWKS! Absolutely stunning work madJik..I like!
  4. I have .NET 3.0 SP1 and no to your question --if you mean does the brushes work with this. Wish I was a more technically inclined human But I'm learning
  5. Are we talking about the same bug? The bug I fixed was the crash when no brushes were installed. I cannot fix the bug until I know the answer to this question. I'm fairly new here Simon. I posted the Crashlog on pg.55 here. I had installed the brushes and placed the zip file in C:\Program Files\Paint.NET\Effects after I unblocked it, as per instructs for plugins. It wouldn't work at first, but when I opened my pdn again, it showed up in effects. I was excited to see them there, and when I went to use the brushes, my pdn crashed the minute I touched the canvas. I know you are still tryin
  6. :?: Then the plugin is messed up.I get the same thing. As soon as i touch the canvas w/ custombrushes..it shuts down pdn with a crash report??????? What earlier version worked? I am loving PDN and all the other cool plugins...its just as good as psp or better.
  7. Well I finally get the custom brushes to work and then BAM---my pdn crashes: This text file was created because Paint.NET crashed. 9. I have tried numerous times to open the custompaint brushes in my pdn >filetypes>brushes folder . I am NO DOUBT, doing this wrong, so could someone put the instructs up in a simpler explanation? OK --I am stupid...lol. I have the files in the brushes folder, but they're nowhere to be found in pdn.Heeelp meeeee!!!!!!
  10. There is so much talent here! I love the new plugins and use as many as I can when i work with pdn. This is one bg i used on my desktop and then later used it on myspace.
  11. 8) This was an awesome Tut. Heres my two...using them as wallpaper...although i figure more practice would give me an A+ I used the page curl along with some other adjustments.
  12. here's my attempt, second one actually and a banner
  13. well--this is my first try at the EYE! Which was kinda fun. I love the plug-ins. 8)
  14. Wow..whitetiger. I love your exploding planet. I just joined and have been using pdn for over a year but never thought to come and check this forum out until recently. Very awesome tuts here. I shall post some of the examples i did later.
