BoltBait
by the way.. if i may ask, how can i request plugins in here? Just post a request in the General Discussion forum. That's no guarantee that a plugin will be written for you. But, if the idea is solid and "do-able" then I'm sure someone will take a shot at it. bmvik
Ok! I'm kinda upset, why is it not working for me? I got Vista, is that a problem? I moved the dll's for feather , light rays , jitter to the effects folder - C:\Program Files\Paint.NET\Effects and nothing. i restarted PdN several times, restarted computer. Nothing. It is not in blur or adjustments , in fact all three are nowhere to be found under the menu buttons. Files are not "blocked". All permissions are set for system and administrator as well. Which is who i am since its my computer... So whats the deal !!!!?????
GangstaCrab
I got Vista, is that a problem? I'm pretty certain that there are more than a few forum members that use vista, so I don't think it should be.
pyrochild
(I use Vista. They work fine here) Feather is in Effects > Blurs > Feather Light Rays - Effects > Render > Light Rays Jitter - Effects > Distort > Jitter things to check: you are using the latest version of Paint.NET: 3.08 or 3.10BETA files are extracted from their ZIPs feather is shipped as a dll, but light rays and jitter are both zipped. make sure they downloaded and extracted properly. -right click, properties, make sure the sizes are reasonable. around 6-8 KB for feather and jitter, around 20+ for light rays. make sure Paint.NET is in fact installed to C:/Program Files/Paint.NET Quote ambigram signature by Kemaru [i write plugins and stuff] If you like a post, upvote it! Ash
This is installing plugins, NOT fonts. Using search will get you the answer. Quote All creations Ash + Paint.NET [ Googlepage | deviantArt | Club PDN | PDN Fan ]
muffy
Okay, I'm really having trouble downloading plugins (I'm obviously new). IDK what I'm doing wrong, so help would be appreciated =] Here's everything I'm doing (I'm downloading the Gradient Plugin) - 1) 2) 3) 4) 5) 6) After doing that, nothing shows up in Effects (I've checked all the subs) or Adjustments. I know some previous people have been saying something about unblocking, but when I got to properties there's no 'unblock' option so I don't think that's the problem. Oh, and while I was doing all that ^^ PDN wasn't opened. Help anyone??
