MJW
1 hour ago, welshblue said: (Are the striations on the R/H side intentional or just - as it turned out ?) The striations were, for better or worse, intentional. Both sides of the lock have them, but due to the lighting, they're not very visible on the left side. I produced them by the cheap trick of converting the height map from 24-bit to black-and-white before shading it.
lynxster4
Congrats @MJW and @welshblue!! All the locks were wonderful. I regret I had no time to try and fashion one. Kudos to everyone! Roly Poly Goblinoli
MJW's looks like a high-quality 3d render. Very impressive.
MJW
Congratulations to @welshblue for two very fine entries (even though he beat me to the idea of doing an antique padlock)! The extreme view angle of welshblue's second entry was most impressive. That's so challenging to do. @Pixey's entry was also exceptionally well done. I particularly liked the key and key ring.
