  1. So then what you are saying is that it is good for some but not for others basically. In all the competitions it says that they shall be made using just paint.net but then someone added that outside image editors and images may be used as long as links are posted. Is this a selective rule? As far as I see it, all should be made using just paint.net from scratch to be fair for all. Photographs that a person took themselves could fit into this because the artist took the picture with their camera and edited it in paint.net but even that is a questionable use. I am sure that others feel the way I do but I am the only one willing to speak up and put my head on the chopping block.
  2. Many entries are made from images made with other programs or by other artists and only combined using paint.net and are ok to enter. CC's entry in the alphabet comp was a perfect example of this and she won a second place with it. So why not his? Perhaps if he posted the links like others do it would be alright? I'm confused here.
  3. God should already know that it's impossible to do this in a pixel based editor and be using inkscape or some similar vector program.
  4. Thank you everyone. Seeing as no one has posted another picture in awhile I am posting a couple I made for a historical society. This one I did for the Wilmington Historical society in Wilmington ,Vermont. This is the center of town using an old picture from around 1880-1900 before cars for the center and a present day picture that I took from about the same angle. In the old you can see a mountain, Haystack mountain, which now is blocked by the trees that have grown quite bigger as you can see in the new part above it. Most of the buildings are still there but the bridge and roadway has changed quite a bit. This one is at the upper end of Harriman reservoir. There used to be a dam/railroad tressle with a mill below it on the left as you can see in the old which is gone now and it's one big lake. On the right there was a village and shops for the people who worked at the mill and logging the surrounding mountains. The loggers used to float their logs down the two rivers feeding into this area and the mill would scoop them out, mill them and send the boards out on the railroad. Eventually the power company dammed the whole thing up, 7 miles worth, and generate power with the water. They allow recreational uses but with no overnight mooring or camping. I did this for the historical society also. ( TR's EFX was used)
  5. Cool one Red, not sure about the tree on the top though, lol.
  6. Might not be old enough to know, too old to remember, or too much weed, lol.
  7. The Amp is pretty cool, now you need racerx to help you animate it. A little music by TR would be nice too.
  8. I have never heard of that requirement before. I actually didn't know anybody except Amazon could sell things at Amazon also. What kind of things are you trying to sell? It would help tremendously if you could post a couple example pictures so we could have an idea where to start.
  9. Grid warp might work if you could see the layer below it while you move the active layer but you can't so you will have no idea where you moved it to. Have you tried the Move Selected Pixels tool? Activate the layer you want to move by clicking on it in the layer window, then use the Move Selected Pixels tool. You will have to click the image for the nubs to appear.
  10. Make sure you are not violating any copyright laws also. Or does that matter anymore?
  11. I really liked his plane entry. Perhaps if racerx didn't animate it the rule police would have been silent. One can only hope and dream.
  12. Just curious, how many plugins are too many?
  13. I love how most of the entrants in the Alphabet SOTW comp made their sig from scratch using just Paint.Net, good job by those who did.
  14. Thank you Red, Drydareelin and Julio, I'm just having fun. I just added a picture of a violin that I made all with pdn. It took several days off and on and about 30 layers to do. Not bad for a first try at making something I have no idea how to play, lol. I also added some misc. space pics and trippy art to enjoy.
  15. Drop Shadow I presume racerx ? Or perhaps the Outline Object plugin? I like the lightning bolt,lol.. Oh and the plane, the plane is awesome.
  16. Windows 8,7,xp,vista,NT,98,95 ???
  17. Do you know the speech bubble is adjustable? I am not a code writer but it seems to me that what you are looking for in a one step operation would be quite hard or even impossible to make a plugin for. I have seen your images of examples and for the life of me I can not figure out why you want your bubbles to look so crude. Am I missing something?
  18. I think CC would do a fine job of making a list categorizing all the plugins that could be added to EER's plugin index which I am sure he would be happy to add.
