  1. Holding shift while making shapes doesn't work in the new version 4.0.3.
  2. Are you saving it as a png with a transparent background? Try saving it this way and then bring it into Video Studio instead of copy and pasting.
  3. Thank you TR, Pratyush and Red, this plugin is addicting and I can't stop, lol. I have found that just about any image makes a good height map but I also have found that images I made in PDN make really cool height maps. Lighter colored images give a different appearance than dark colored images. Making an image with the Third Dimension it should be on it's own layer and possibly make another layer with a different height map and shrink the front one down to reveal the part of the other layer, 3D the 3D,lol. Add a background and walla! Other plugins come into play making these but the main ingredient is TR's Third Dimension. In the last two weeks I made a few more, lol, nine more to be exact. Up until now I switch around making different types of images but no matter what I start out to make, it ends up in this plugin, lol.
  4. You could use this plugin to cut the person or object out of a picture; http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?/topic/26966-trs-alpha-cutter-v304-april-7th-2014/ To clean the edges you could use the Feather plugin or TR's EFX plugin.
  5. You did it again, heh, heh, heh. I'm posting the picture anyway that I made before this newest update, lol. I was going to tell you that it was working great. One of these days I'll be able to keep up,lol. p.s. ( I used a little of Red's Psychocolor on it)
  6. I couldn't see the images in the second link either. It says " Click and discover Imageshack" where the image is supposed to be. I assume you have to be registered on Image shack to view them or your privacy settings are preventing it. I have never heard of this site before I saw your post so I would have no idea where to start. Pong and Atari is more up my alley, lol
  7. Thanks TR but I never had a problem with the speed of the preview, it gave me a minute to eat another cookie, lol. These updates are coming so quick and frequently that I hardly get a chance to try it at each stage. Sometimes these updates scare me and I wait a while to do it because in some of your earlier plugins the updates changed the behaviour of the original enough to be different, the same but different. For instance, your EFX used to be much smoother on the edges than it is now, in your first couple of releases. Distort This is another one that changed after the first few releases enough so that some of the things I was doing with it also changed. Some plugins let me save the old one and add the new one so that in pdn I have a choice of either. Yours overwrites both and I end up with two of the same thing, no idea why it does that. Love your plugins anyway and not putting any of them down, just pointing out a few things. The old song " Slow down you're moving too fast" comes to mind.
  8. Lol, just about to try it out and you came out with another version, lol.
  9. It's kind of like a like on facebook. In the bottom right corner of a post you will see a number and an arrow, click the arrow to give someone a rep point. There are daily limits on how many rep points you can give out though, not sure how many has been decided after the last discussion about them on the forum. Under your name and avatar you can see how many rep points you have or anybody else has under their's. As far as I know there are no prizes for rep points, they just accumulate and sit there. An autographed picture of Ego Eram Reputo with a Cobweb beard would be a good prize for the first one to hit 500 though.
  10. I am not to savvy on art terms and took the meaning of the word literally. I thought a mask was a way of hiding another image or part of one to change the appearance. Those images you linked to look more like a half tone or threshold effect to me and I wouldn't have a clue that they were called masks also. Masks have always baffled me because so many things are called masks which make it very confusing for this old guy. My images kind of fit with Halloween masks, lol.
  11. I made this one before you added the invert selection, just takes a little ingenuity.
  12. It really depends on the individual needs of each individual.
  13. Wouldn't it be a case of paying attention to what you type in for resolution numbers? I didn't think that paint.net could handle resolutions that large. I also don't think many everyday computers could handle resolutions that large either. Kind of like asking a car to move a building.
  14. I was just going to tell you I had a crash when I tried to reset the defaults and you added a new version, lol. I'll let you know if I get another with this version.
  15. I would say that you would have to look at the sites the texts came from for that info. I would also say that all texts are probably copyrighted. Most are free to use for personal or business use but some are not and carry restrictions. Again that info would be at the site you downloaded it from. There also could be a copy of the use policy in the zip folder the texts came in or the folder your texts are in, some do and some don't. Oh and they would be called fonts.
  16. Wow, Thank you everyone. I thought for sure that Pixey and Sashwilko would have beat me on this one. Great job to all
  17. Yes bring it in as another layer. Once you have it on it's own layer you can move it around or change the size with the move selected pixels tool if you need to. To save the whole image you will have to merge the layers or flatten the image.
  18. Thank you TR and Helen, this plugin has been a lot of fun. Now I entered the space realm with it and I am very happy so far. I added a few samples that I made with the Third Dimension plugin and a few more plugins. The thing I like the most about it is you never know what you are going to get. For instance the first addition is from a picture of lightning, the second is a space ship shooting a blue beam, the third is some blue roses surrounded by green and the last one is a picture of a sunset. I also found that if you make two layers, one mesh and one texture of the same image and settings with the mesh layer on top, then use a little dents on it and maybe some blur, then set the blending mode to a setting of your desire you will get some awesome land textures. I have to go give TR some more rep points, this one is addicting.
  19. I got led astray from the checker board idea and came up with this. Hard to believe it started out as a picture of a space ship, lol. Thanks a lot TR, you have opened a whole new realm in space pictures for me with this plugin. I'll be posting a few in my gallery but I just had to show you this so you can see what you can make with Led Zeppelin.
  20. I'm loving this plug in but have run into a road block on this. First I made this and saved it as a png; Then I opened new and used this gradient as a base; I opened your Third Dimension plugin and tried to bring the checker board image in as the height map and got this message; I am stumped by this message. Any ideas on what I am doing wrong?
