  1. You could also use the Rotate/Zoom tool under the Layers tab to move one layer where you want and then just repeat for each other layer and they will move to the same settings.
  2. You could have done it using just the Circle Text plugin with the right settings and it would look more like the bottom one. Have done it many times, just have to play with the settings. You could also use the Rectangle Select tool and the Move Selection tool to surround just one letter at a time, then use the Move Selected Pixels tool to adjust the position and angle of that letter. Now just unselect and move to the next letter and do the same until all looks good. With this method it is almost better if you type your text on it's own layer, put a space between them when typing and put them away from the spot you want them to be. Now move each one separately and place in their proper position. If one overlaps another and blocks it out, cut and paste on a new layer. As it is the letters of Sons of Samedi all point straight up and down. The letters of Nomad point towards the middle. Other than that, nice design. After playing around with this I see why you are having a hard time,it is too small to use any of the plugins and have it come out the right proportions. I did the copy below by typing each letter on it's own layer and using the three tools above to locate, squeeze and stretch each letter until all looked good. When satisfied I merged all layers of text and used the same tools to adjust the final position and angle of the whole thing. I used Barbecue text if you are wondering. This method takes a few minutes but what is time if you are making something important?
  3. Nice plugin Martin, thank you. Now I have to see what I can come up with.
  4. I agree with jeancallisti, even microsoft keeps older versions for download somewhere on their site for a period of time. I myself have both versions on my pc because I am one of the lucky ones who was able to afford an upgrade. But what about the poor souls who can not afford to upgrade? Do we feel good about just tossing them out in the cold? Personally I prefer using the older version for ease of use and familiarity. I am very limited on the newer version and easily get frustrated with it's "ease of use". But then again windows 8 also frustrates me with it's intended ease of use, lol. I also have the older version and all the older plugins on my second pc for a back up in case I lose the one I use most of the time.
  5. Although many feel as you do you are beating a dead horse. Nope, noway, nada
  6. Yes it is very cool. Don't know how I missed this one but here's my first go at it. And I made this out of that.
  7. Thank you very much Barbie. My mind never stops working on new ideas.
  8. CC try duplicating your text layer and change the lower one to a black color. Then use the Rotate/zoom tool to get the angle, you might have to feather it a bit first, and then adjust the transparency until it looks good to you. If you need it to stretch a bit use the rectangular select tool, move selection and move pixels tool. Piece of cake.
  9. Thank you Red and Helen. I think I'm coming out of my addiction finally, lol. My brother-in-law is in a band called Crazy Diamond and they play nothing but Pink Floyd music. After looking at the Pink Floyd album art I decided to make my own versions for their website. Most of them were made in Paint.Net with a little Terragen in the Time one. I am still working on the Tree of Half Life and the Sound of Thunder and will add them when I get done. Having fun with this project. (link to gallery under sig)
  10. Here is a copy of what I was making. I used the Grid Warp plugin mostly with some touch up using the Liquify plugin. Not bad for the first try, lol, but I need to do some practicing. I guess I don't need a new plugin to do it for now. My Brother-in-Law's band.
  11. Between that one and Grid Warp I might be able to do what I am looking for.
  12. I am looking for a plugin to put a melting effect on an object like the famous melting clock from the Pink Floyd album covers. Or to melt a font like the Bloodlust font from 1001fonts.com . The closest I have found to do this is the Grid Warp plugin but it has it's limits. Anybody up to the challenge if there isn't one I don't know about?
  13. Wow, like being close to an alien ship landing. Well that's what I see, lol.
  14. I like that, and it looks like spilled beer on the floor behind the ball, good job.
  15. Thank you barbie that is what I thought also. It's actually made from another picture I made using this plugin, lol. Thank you Helen, they amaze myself at times. I think I have to find a Third Dimension Anonymous meeting somewhere because this addiction is getting out of hand. I can't make anything without using the drugin, I mean plugin. I'm starting to lose sleep because I get up in the middle of the night and open one up. My family suffers when I expose their pictures to my addiction. My dog, the neighbor's dog, people driving by, people in their yards, cars, trucks, sky, rain, snow, anything and everything is getting infected like a slow moving out break. My art is suffering awfully as you can see, two of them went in to the drugin. I'm at my wits end, please someone tell me where there are some meetings. Oh ya, I added a few more to the collection.
  16. First off make sure the fence is on it's own layer with a transparent background. Now duplicate it three more times to get 4 layers. With the top layer being the front go to each layer and use the Rotate/Zoom tool under the Layers tab and angle and move each piece to where you want them. Merge or flatten all layers when you are happy with how it looks. You can also use either the Drop shadow or the Trail plugins to add a 3D effect to each side.
  17. That's an awesome picture jim, did you make it?
  18. If you just clicked the X on the top right of the upgrade window it would have gone away and nothing happened.
  19. You know that's not my style! I just did a google search for notebook paper. (I did edit it to make it smaller though.) I bet you could have though. It doesn't look that hard to make.
  20. Thank you sashwilko but the skeleton is actually from a GIF and he is motioning you to come here with the other finger.
  21. Thank you and well done by all, it was a fun one. Thanks Daniels
  22. Thank you TR, Seerose, Red, Barbie and Pratyush, the imagination just keeps going and TR's "tool" helps that a lot. I just added another couple but my favorite is the one with the blue beam of light.
  23. I've gotten pretty quick at the scrolling. And seeing as I have to scroll to get to the ones that start with a "T" anyway The plugin browser is just as hard to find as the others..
