quite simple performane use more power to do more works. older GPU like your's can't match the needs of today rendering

and what about: color clearer and color cut. those two plug-ins are working and are doing pretty the same thing: why should i install your's?

how many separate text tools do we got? circle; circular and others. maybe we can agree on something

why the msi is supposed to be on e drive. and why the installer is not in the c: downloads

the point is to create a new blank layer, then select this layer, apply the filter and therefore open the file. the other way; when you got a layer previously filled with text, brush drawing or anything; is to make a selection of this layer. then create a new layer and paste, finally you can apply blend+ filter to this layer. remember to uncheck the view of the previous layer as i said i wish there was transparency directly in. but the main thing is there's no mask in PDN

you say you hit a button on you keyboard if you want to go back you had to hit CTRL+Z it looks like you hit B which is a shortcut for the brush tool

hi tried this but doesn't work for me. there is TR's Monolitic one can apply to text box. did your effect work with image, text or selection only. i've tried on image, logo, text and selection with no result on PDN 4.2.1 and win X build 1903

you mean there is a lack of tools in paint.net; since the magic wand is no more used even in photoshop

affinity designer is a good tool when it comes for text handling, not a freeware but 50$

Indeed necessessary because there's no feature like in photoshop, where if you place a picture into the canvas you open a new file if none is open; and as a new layer if there is a file already open. Then when you drag on the tab bar you got a new file

what is the difference between color clearer and reverse blend set to average color; i've tried and got the same things with the picture of spider. on the other hand on the bomber i've applied manual color correction and then magic wand with first tolerance to 0 to get fine outline and 16 to achieve a good result; better than with anything else. the two pictures got non uniform blue color backgrounds.

try to check-> my documents - my paint.net files - custom brushes. brushes had to be placed here or search for my paint.net files for a customised location. i guess the location in my docs is the mandatory place to be.

youre right it's one of the major lack in PDN, too bad it doesn't run under 4.0. a feature like record an action to get a script and then apply to files is eagely wanted. Maybe hard to do, i can't figure, but needed.

a photoshop like effect very handy. you can then apply other effects (outline, drop shadow... without select). A feature that fills a gap, should be native!

i don't know exactly how it works. i guess you cannot record automatically mouse gesture and save the script. as far as i know ed harvey effects are nor supported by PDN since version 4.00 at least. that can be the answer why this plug in crashes.

hi, i guess bevel is a native effect (not the bevel object) and now its crashing. the last time i used it last beta 4. i don't give a damn since it's not photoshop feature like and i'm just following PDN progress; but i would like you to know best regards Ge

hi, you posted the wrong place, anyway for pyrochild delete the common dll outdated, check out there must be two versions and i guess that the same with others. go to the effects folder and and clear up the mess. HB

Tested with fire plugin alone and add water reflection, tested on text and various effects, and with edges detect + ink sketch always good , think there are plenty of uses! a four star plug-in
