@AramUEAwe understand frustration, believe me. Please be mindful that the program developer, the plugin authors, the forum administrators & the moderators as well as other very helpful forumers are volunteers. Please be respectful of the time they put into creating all of this for free.
Honestly, 30 minutes is not that long to spend on creating an image but when you have something that you love you really don't want to lose it.
It seems that maybe you are running out of memory. Without anything else running in the background, like music or youtube - AVG should be fine as I run that too.
Try this:
1. Open a new canvas to the dimensions that you require.
2. Now, yes, right now, save it - .PDN is what you need to save it as.
Are you able to provide a screenshot of the save window so we can see your configurations?
Does it get stuck on there too?
Let's see by the process of elimination what we can do to help you.

Echoing the thoughts of @Pixey & @welshblue. Hope it starts to ease soon.

Very sorry for your loss Dryda. It is a beautiful tribute to your dad.
You can see how proud he was of you at your graduation. He will always be a bright shining star watching over you.

Ooooh those stairs are just lovely!
Love the wood texture, the 3D effect, the painting on the wall & the cute little pig. I'm left wondering how it got there

@welshblueThat is a lot for a wallpaper but I like the idea too Thank you for the vote of confidence.
@JulioCooliothank you
@Seerose aw thank you!
@Pixeythank you. They reminded me of the coral & underwater scenes that we saw a couple of months back in our coral viewing in a glass bottom boat. Loved it!
@Woodsyyep, they are the same base image.
@lynxster4thank you
Now that we have the clickable sorted the next one is clickable
I was cleaning up my C drive & found this from 2013 - almost complete so I finished it.

... not sure why I get so depressed when I see all the lines on my face now
Beautiful pieces ... not clickable though
Lines on your face are a story of a life lived. Go with it
The ones on the front page are. Should I use clickable thumbnails here too? I put the images on the front page like you but also at the end of the comments so that it is easier for folk to see the image that is being commented on. Maybe I should just leave it as clickable thumbnails on the front page.
I love textures too esp. rocks & your cliff & stone textures always did it for me.
The Neptune one rather reminds me of some of HR Gigers works. Now those works will give you shivers - esp. his Alien
Thank you for the very encouraging comments. Always appreciated.

First one doesn't work. The 2nd one is working perfectly! Third one works, but has a lot of code left over
Yep, I was testing & editing as you posted @Pixey At least now I know which one I have to use. Thankies for the feedback.

@welshblueYep, it used to work fine I'm sure but now none of them seem to be clickable that I posted up or maybe it's me getting old.
So the first one just gives a thumbnail - no clickability.
Second one is clickable & takes you to Image Shack.
3rd & 4th are pretty useless here.
So note to self: Use the forum thumbnail Again thank you, Pixey & Julio for pointing that out.
We really have some amazing new plugins to play with. I remember your love of sprouts. Broccoli is good so long as it isn't cooked to mush Only mushy food should be mashed potatoes (yum!) & of course mushy peas with pies.

@barbieq25 - love the new 'edible' entries ............... but, the images are not clickable . I'll bet Primal Scream is the celery going down the hatch .
Thank you everyone for your encouraging comments. I really don't know why the thumbnails are not clickable. Probably because I selected the wrong setting. I'll have to work on this but in the meantime I've added bigger versions. How did you know I cannot stand celery. Brussel sprouts are even worse.
@JulioCoolio& @welshblueI can add them to Deviant Art. There you have the option of 1920 x 1080 which all of these are
I am using Image Shack so any advice on how to make the thumbnails clickable will be much appreciated.
