  1. I thought I might add the original photos that I took of my plants so you can compare what has been done.

@VagabondiLittle Mexico looks like a mountain of butterflies to me too :D

@lynxster4 the cobwebs were made by my busy little workers :D

@Pixeyif you look at the photo you can see the spines curve downwards & if you touch it with the flat of your finger, it is fine, but the other way & you are in a world of strife.

Congratulations @barbieq25, @Pixey, @doughty and @lynxster4. Very good entries by all, with the exception of mine, of course.

I admit I do not share all the hype about Halloween and I did not put much effort into this competition; and everybody saw it.

I like @doughty's entry best, so I'm glad it won gold.

I thought yours were very clever but we only got so many votes. I'm looking forward to your next entries.

I think that may be misunderstanding an English idiom. "It would be a shame" means, more or less, "it would be unfortunate" not "it would be shameful." (I'd never considered what an odd expression it is if taken literally.)

That is rather interesting now things get translated.

Well done @ReMake for asking the question & @MJW for the great response.
