  1. That is so lovely, I hope santa won't ever pull that hat from there. Merry Christmas to you too Pixey, and wish you a very happy coming year, full of health and joyful , to you and to your family.
  2. I feel like goonfella, to shake the snowman globe, to get some relaxation, wonderful work HELEN, And the Christmas globe is amazingly glassy, love the design of the green tree, I noticed that you have used the same globe in both, that is so smart, I like your version of the glowing glossy, And nice try on it, especially is all done in PDN, that makes it more valuable.
  3. A professional work, AmadeusX, I thought there was something wrong with her left hand at the elbow, but the original picture has same problem..!
  4. Great to see a new work from you Barbie, it looks awesome on my screen, I viewed it on a dark grey windows background (FireFox default background color) and was amazing, the fonts and rings are popping out of the screen. I also love your new set of sig and avvie
  5. You can draw the path using the Dotted Style of the Line/Curve tools with large width. Or you can draw the path using Line/Curve tool with wide width, then use Magic Wand to select inside the line, then BoltBait's Outline Selection plugin with a different color, then divide the line by drawing lines across the path, as HELEN explained above (with same width used in the Outline Selection) Or you can draw the path using Line/Curve tool using wide width, then add some Drop Shadow with different color, then draw the across lines with same color (this give best smooth result)
  6. @pdnnoob, I've said it before and say it again, you are no more pdnnoob, but pdnmaster, Excellent tutorial, with fantastic result, and thanks for referring to my tute, but I think if you explain the procedure in an additional step, it will be much better for those who want to download it, to save their time BTW, as long as the sphere is in the center, then you can use layer Rotate/Zoom to zoom it And I have tried it with the Point blur and got a good result as well, without needing to my technique.
  7. I am not sure what method you have used to rotate the image, but: 1- Make the selection few pixels bigger than the photo from all sides (beyond the edges) then rotate using Move Selected Pixels 2- Make sure the Quality of Move Selected Pixels is set to Smooth not Pixelated 3- Try also the layer Rotate/Zoom in some cased it works well.
  8. The Clone Stamp actualy doesn't erase pixels, it just replaces them with another pixels copied from the same image/layer or different layer. You just need to know which area to choose from the surrounded pixels to use it to cover the unwanted pixels, I am not sure how detailed the image/background is, if it is just a one single solid color, then the rectangle tool you've used is fine. And to repeat same path, try to make it on its own new layer, then duplicate the layer and move it with Move Selected Pixels tool, or move it by Pan of Layer Rotate/Zoom tool I liked the subject and inspired me to create this ,I hope you don't mind if I post it here Moon is real Moon photo
  9. I like your avatar and of course your awesome sig as well, nitenurse,
  10. Well deserved Dug and runners up, Nice sigs everyone. And thanks NN79 for great work.
  11. Use Clone Stamp to remove them. And to outline an existing map, use BoltBait's Outline Selection plugin, find it here
  12. Yeah, it should be easy to understand, so the newcomers won't get confused I am afraid 20 stars will take forever to reach.
  13. OK, Lets try the new rating? 100% PDN
  14. Congratulations on the new competition : I just have two questions: 1- How about restricting the dimentions for posted images in this thread, but have an option to link to the larger (larger than 800X600) zise if available? 2- Is the voting based on someone's taste only, or there is some art criteria we need to follow? Thanks. As example, the latest two images of HyReZ and skullbonz, HyReZ's has nice flow but it is hurting my eyes but maybe not someone else's eyes, and skullbonz's texture is awesome and I really like to see more details in a larger size if available..! So based on this, I think it is unfair to just don't give my vote to HyReZ because it isn't suit my taste. Thanks.
  15. Congratulations on your gallery, you know how to choose your colors, I like them all so far, and the Christmas card is beautiful , but where is the snowman Look forward to seeing more from you.
  16. You don't need to post your original project on Photobucket, just try to repro it on any background color and post it, so we can see what is the problem exactly, I am sure you've changed -at least- one thing of the text in the second layer, I am saying this because you have mentioned the font size you've used was 142 in your first post, then 144 size in your latest post...! This way we are not sure what steps and settings you actually used.
  17. Amazing Pixey, really This is from that tiny picture that I just saw? wow, you can see even pixels of the pixels.
  18. @ skullbonz, that is so gorgeous, really nice work
  19. I think chimay was so successful with the effects those added to the render, they fit the subject as well, Drewdale's is nice, but in my opinion is simple and not centered correctly, if the letters were engraved or embossed will look better, just an idea. Sorry DD, I have to give my vote this to chimay, C12321: 3 DD: 2 Chimay wins.
  20. I believe Displacement Map of Curtis pack.
  21. Very nice radio Goonfella, the metal text of the grill is excellent, I reviewed the PS tute, you made a lot of changes to it, I really like it, and the background is awesome, well done goonie.
  22. Congrats Welshy, that is awesome, All sigs are very nice, great job everyone and congrats all. And thanks again NN79 for the great work.
  23. Welcome to the forum, I am trying to answer your question, but not sure what did you mean by the txt, Is the text the only object in the image? Or it's on its own layer? Or you mean to change the color of the text while you are typing and the Text tool is active? e.g. from black to another color
