  1. A transparent image is probably unnecessary on a website if you use CSS. Check out the margin and padding elements. However, if you do wish to use an image: Create one in the right size ( or resize the current canvas) and ensure it has only one layer. Hit Ctrl+A to select all of the image Press Delete to remove everything on the layer Go to File > Save As.., and select the *.GIF file format Click save

  4. New revision posted - 1 October 2009. This latest revision spans the first 6 posts, two more than the last revision. This may break some links if you have linked to the actual post(s) and not just the thread. The reason is that the list keeps expanding and it got too large to comfortably fit in four posts (due to the 60000 character limit). Blame MadJik who has a horde of plugins and whose username sits right in the middle of the alphabet!

  6. 1. make a gradient with the gradient tool The two control nubs control where the gradient is placed. The gradient is shaded between the currently selected Primary & Secondary colors. 2. Select the layer by clicking on the layer name in the layers window. Double clicking opens up a layer options dialog where you can adjust the opacity and blend mode.
  7. Push them all at the same time then, it's not called the four-fingered-salute for nothing!

  9. I had a quick play with this. 1. Duplicate layer On upper layer 2. Invert colors 3. Blend mode = multiply & Opacity 110 On lower layer 4. Brightness & Contrast (-88 & 60 respectively) Result:

  11. Do you mean this: Animated Image 1.7 - Animated GIF and Animated PNG? If so, read that thread carefully, and then if your question is not answered there post your problem in that thread.
  12. Try: Convolution Effect You can specify your own convolution matrix and.... I don't recall if it will work with alpha values though.

  18. To improve accuracy, try using the arrow keys while holding down the mouse. The arrow keys give a 1 pixel per press accuracy. Good enough?
