  1. I'm having some trouble installing plug-ins. I have a feeling it's something simple I'm not doing, but I can't for the life of me figure out what. I'm using Windows Vista, and Paint.NET v3.5.4 (I'm assuming that's the latest, since I haven't had any recent prompts for updates). Specifically I'm having trouble with Custom Brushes. I've followed the instructions in both this thread and the Custom Brush plug-in thread. According to the list under my files, the Brushes are under the Effects folder. But when I actually open the program and go to find them in my Effects Folder, there's nothing there. Did I miss a step somewhere? I unzipped everything, and put them where the thread suggested, but the program must not have got the memo.
  2. Wow, that's a lot! Thank you. ^_^
  3. Sorry about the much delayed response; it's been busy here. >< lol Uh, yeah. THanks. Now, is there a link to a plugin I could have, possibly? That would be wonderful. ^_^ Aaah! I wondered what the whole aliasing thing was about. Thank you very kindly.
  4. Hi all, Is there either a way to change your brush shape, or a plugin that has numerous brush shapes? Also, is there a way to have a brush color solidly, instead of gradiated? I notice that when I use my magic wand or paintbucket to fill in an area, I get white spots around the outlines. It's annoying to have to go down and fill it in pixel by pixel. Thanks in advance.
  5. I have GIMP, but I have difficulty with it, so I'm not sure if that's what I'm after. Well, I'm willing to try something new. Could I bother for a link to the Oblique Plugin? Thank you in advance, as well as for trying to help.
  6. Hi there, thank you very much for the welcome. ^_^ I've tried the zoom/rotate, and its not giving me the effect that I desire. I even tried the pan feature, thinking that might work, but it didn't. All that I'm able to do with it it turn it upside down, or flip the image. What I want is to tilt it, sort of. Sort of.... make the top of the image larger, and the bottom thinner, or visa versa. I probably am confusing you more, aren't I? I just don't know how to describe it....
  7. Sorry for the question in the subject, but I'm not sure of how to explain what I'm trying to do. Basically, I'd like to create multiple perspectives of a coin, with as little effort as possible. I thought if I created a front and back image (totally 2D, with no depth yet), I would be able to skew it slightly, so that it would give the illusion of being seen from a different angle. But all I can seem to do is the scaling type of altering. In other words, I can flatten it, but I can't figure out out to skew it. I hope this makes sense, and any help would be greatly appreciated.
