  1. Hey Lifechip - welcome to the forum Best if you post your question in the thread where you downloaded the plugin. That way the plugin developer will see your message if they are still around. Also include the text of the error message, and/or a screenshot of the error message.
  2. Trident?? The plugin uses the installed version of IE. If you're using IE9 the news is bad because it always uses ClearType font rendering (ref: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/5427315/disable-cleartype-text-anti-aliasing-in-ie9). You could try targeting an earlier version (or later) by adding this line into the HTML <meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE10">
  3. MarkupRenderer copies (or attempts to copy) the contents of the lower pane to the active layer. It is somewhat flaky Try using the Copy button to create a copy in the clipboard before hitting Ok. If it fails to render correctly you can hit Ctrl + V to paste from the clipboard.

  5. Sounds like a mouse setting. Open the Mouse dialog box. In Windows 7+, click Start , type Mouse in the Search box, then click Mouse (orMicrosoft Mouse) in the Programs list. If you are prompted for an administrator password or for a confirmation, type the password, or clickAllow. Verify the button assignments in IntelliPoint software. On the Buttons tab, under Button Assignment, make sure that theLeft button setting is Click (default), and not Double-click. If this problem occurs only in specific programs, click the Settings button, choose the impacted program, and then confirm that the Left button is set to Click (default) for that program. Click OK. 6. 1. Grab a copy of my MarkupRenderer plugin. 2. Install it in the usual way. Restart paint.net 3. Open the plugin and paste this code into the code window <!DOCTYPE html> <html> <head> <style> h1 { font-family: "Futura Bold", "Times New Roman", Georgia, Serif; letter-spacing: 16px; } </style> </head> <body> <h1>This is heading 1</h1> </body> </html>
  7. What you're trying to do is entirely dependent on the image involved. How about showing us the image? You can upload it to an image hosting site & post the URL here.
  8. You should ask this question in the EdgeFader plugin thread http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?/topic/26479-trs-edge-fader-extreme-v-535-june-15th-2014/
  9. Hey Zee! Welcome to the forum. Upload the photo to an image hosting site (Photobucket, ImgUr, TinyPic, ImageShack....,) and post the URL here. Edit: Ninja'd by Max.
  10. Did you install the font? Try right clicking on the downloaded file then Install
  11. Easiest way to backup your downloaded plugins is to copy your entire /Effects/ and /Filetypes/ folders to a USB drive. If you ever need to restore them, just reverse the operation and copy them back again.
  12. Hi Pat. Welcome to the forum Please post a screenshot showing the contents of your paint.net/Effects/ folder. I'd also like to check where you got the DLLs from?
  13. Welcome to the forum NorthWestTrees. You'll need to finish the job of removing the existing version before trying to reinstall. Go here http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?/topic/692-install-update-or-uninstall-trouble-read-this/ Read post #2 regarding the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. That tool will complete the removal. Once done, a new install should be problem free. Please let us know how you get on. Good luck.
  14. Chris I've split your post into its own thread. The one you posted in ( http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?/topic/6768-how-do-i-resize-an-image-without-it-being-blurry-or-pixel/ ) is years old. The reason than scanning can increase the number of pixels is that scanners can sample the source image at a very high density. Let's call the density the DPI or dots-per-inch. If we scan a one inch square postage stamp at 300 DPI we get an image that is 300 pixels square. If we scan the same stamp at 1200 DPI we'll get an image 1200 pixels square. Its the same sized source image. Sampled at a tighter density, we get a lot more pixels to play with.
  15. Removing borders: 1. Open the jpg image. 2. Activate the magic wand tool by clicking on the icon in the Tools window. 3. Click on the black border. Make sure all of it is selected. If it is not, adjust the Tolerance in the Tool Bar. You also don't want the selection encroaching into the rest of the image. 4. Invert the selection with Ctrl + Shift + I. T. Crop to selection with Ctrl + Shift + X. 5. Save As... a PNG!
  16. The palette converter is not a plugin, its a program. That's why you're finding an exe and not a DLL in the download. You need to run it outside of paint.net.
  17. Or supply the Help file as a PDF and have the URL point to a local version which is downloaded with the plugin.
  18. I've done a bit more digging around. There's a Preview version around that likely contains bugs. It would do to get a feel of Win 10 for those nervous about the differences from their present version. I've reserved a copy of the Upgrade. My plan is to first install it on a netbook I don't care about. I'll use it for a week or two then decide if I want my main desktop to work the same way.
  19. Conversation split from the original thread (http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?/topic/31843-hsv-eraser/page-2)
  20. Conversation about adding Help/Instructions into CodeLab Effects has been split into it's own thread. Find it here: Adding a Help Button to a CodeLab plugin
  21. I'm wary of that upgrade icon. I have a perfectly sound Win7 system that I like, so I haven't clicked it. Now if I was sure there was a roll-back option - I would update without question. On a slightly older dual core is Win10 going to impress me or not? I'll have to investigate....
  22. On the Commsquare page click the middle link entitled ImPDF.FileType Download Link.
  23. Yes things have moved on - which is why we ask that you do not reply to old threads. Have a look at this plugin ImPDF Filetype Because this thread is ancient - it is <locked>
  24. If that doesn't work - have a look at the plugin that BoltBait linked to in this thread http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?/topic/31893-i-need-help-i-cant-open-this-file/
