  1. The really dirty way might be to set a condition like this in the main loop.... if (x=width && y=height) then MessageBox.Show("A message") I use this sort of thing in development all the time. It's a filthy habit I've picked up....
  2. Just what I was thinking Time to move from CodeLab to VS and a custom UI....and a help file.
  3. Wow. Necropost. This thread is nine years old. Time to let it go....
  4. Oh, that's just a little bit off Thanks toe-y. I'll fix that soon(ish). Perhaps this weekend.
  5. Um, no. No one had told me there was a problem. Can you send me further details?
  6. Difficult to say without seeing the image. You could try one of the color removal plugins (Kill Color, Grim Color Reaper, Color Clearer, Color Cut, Color To Alpha....,)
  7. Yup. I'm with Toe-Head. I'm willing to bet there isn't a tutorial written for 3.5 that can't be easily reproduced in 4.0.
  8. Meow? I'll have a look and see if I've got the shape correctly compiled.
  9. Or any other sort of monitor manager like Powerstrip or ATI Hydravision. Even NVIDIA Desktop Manager has been known to cause this sort of problem.
  10. Maybe your keyboard is wearing out? Are you certain you're using the Move tool
  11. Images added to first post. Now it looks like a proper plugin pack
  12. There is a heart shape included in the default Shapes (bottom right) Use that on a new layer above your image to create a clipping mask. Select outside the heart with the magic wand then highlight the image layer and press delete Hide the heart layer and save as a PNG. for extended printing options, try this plugin
  13. I disagree. You need to plan your workflow to account for this, rather than relying on paint.net to save you. Here's what I do: I open an image and immediately decide if this edit will overwrite the original. If I want to keep the original, I use File >Save As... to specify a new filename and format before I do any editing.
  14. @lynxster4 you're right. That will be my next major addition. Sometime in the near future. @Djisves: BoltBait"s installer makes creating and maintaining a plugin pack very easy. There are also virtually nil problems getting users to install everything in the right place. I'm a big fan of the installer and won't be offering an alternative. Sorry.
  15. 13 hours seems too long. I'd kill the process. There is obviously something amiss.
  16. It resets the location of the History window. Try dragging the window away from the default location then use the keyboard combination.
  17. Think our poster wants to use the background image as a mask to remove the same background from the text image. Right? Try this: 1. Open the empty background image. 2. Import the text image as a new layer with Layers > Import from file. 3. Set the Blend Mode of the text layer to XOR. 4. Activate the Magic Wand 5. Set the tolerance to 67% and click on the large black space above the bottom text region. 6. Press Delete. 7. Set the Blend mode of the text layer back to Normal. 8. Hide the background layer and Save. Obviously the final layer will need some cleaning up (you can see these area on the gray backed frame). You can do the cleaning up with the Eraser before saving.
  18. Nice job ReMake! To add a Plugin Browser preview image..., Create a new PNG image 200*150 pixels in size. Use the Dragan effect above to fill the image with an example of the effect. Save the image to the same directory as your CodeLab source, naming the image DraganEffect.sample.PNG (the first part of the name needs to be the same as your CodeLab source file). Recompile the effect.
  19. The version of this plugin in my Plugin Pack has been updated to include Loading and Saving! That's right, now you can easily save that cool planet settings for use again later. Plugin Browser preview image has been included.
  20. The version of this plugin in my Plugin Pack has been updated (Plugin Browser preview image). You can now select which font to use from within the plugin (I'm still recommending Chess Merida )
