Only one entry so far in the tennis racket OOF. Will see how it goes up to the deadline and will extend it if needed.
So sorry @DrewDale. It must have been a bad choice. My bad! I'd suggest, if you don't get anymore by Saturday, you don't extend it, ignore my entry and perhaps you pick the next round

Hello @Galactem and Welcome. Just for interest - what is your operating system? It may help if you have further trouble

Hello @mixmedia
Please could you double-check that you did save it to PNG. I know I sometimes forget to uncheck the white background layer when I flatten images.

Could you explain a bit more please what exactly you mean by "if I do anything to the image" ? The bottom layer, the top layer? A screen shot would be helpful too.

But isn't the white and gray checkerboard suppose to represent transparent? How can I make transparent more transparent? The picture you sent looks confusing. How are you deleting the transparent background and making it gray? When I do what you are saying it stays the same checkerboard appearance.
Yes, checkerboard is supposed to be transparent. In the example I gave you, I was removing the white/grey around your 2nd image, to then show the checkerboard transparency.
Remember that, although you may have an image on a transparent background, once you place it into a web page, or other program it will take on the color of where you are placing it.
i.e. When we enter images to the Object of the Fortnight competition, we have to enter them on a transparent background. But when you view them, they show up on a white background. Hope that makes sense

Oooooo - I like it This looks really cool @xod I'm sure I'll use it often. You are doing great with making Plugins - well done

Hello @AhuLee and Welcome.
No, I don't think that is possible. But, you can use
Ctrl +Shift +F7 to say, get the layers window back in place. Here are the shortcuts to move them: https://www.getpaint.net/doc/latest/ToolsWindow.html

Wow! That's a very Moody Blue piece @LionsDragon. The snake is spooky curled up like that . The piece is lovely and shiny and glassy too .
My very best'est friend comes from Wisconsin (who now lives in Texas) but through her - I know all about cheese heads and the Green Bay Packers
Hope your move goes smoothly

Hello @StringCheese and Welcome to the forum
We have a great Search option found here.
So, if you have a perfectly white or black background you could use the magic wand to 'Select' the background and then hit delete. You can then use the Plugin AA's Assistant to clean up the edges. Then Save As a .png and the background will stay transparent.
Or, you can cut out the image using this method found here.
I hope you find these helpful.

@barbieq25 - thank you so much . Yes, Spring will soon be here. This is the only time of the year I actually miss the Isle of Man as I had tulips, snow drops, peonies and daffodils in the garden.
@lynxster4 - so glad you like the paperweight, made partially using one of your fabbo tutorials
@Woodsy - wonderful to see you on here (hope you feel better soon) and thank you for the lovely comments

I too have never worked with a WebP file, so I download the Plugin that opens them in PDN.
There could be many reasons for why you are getting a shadow, the only thing I can think of is that you may not be using layers.
You should use a new layer for each thing you add. Don't forget to uncheck the box in a layer that you may no longer want before you flatten the image.

Yes, that is the correct .cs you have opened. Then you have to change certain things in the areas I show in the video.
Make sure you can see the line numbers in the .cs
Then you must change certain things in the code:
1. On line 10 ..... change false to true
2. Line 39 ...... put your name where is MadJik's name
3. Line 49 ..... remove the two green slashes // at the beginning of the lines of 49, 50, 51 & 52
then add your colors in the brackets (0 , 0, 0, ) etc;
It IS a rather complicated thing to do @Seerose and it took me a while to understand it myself One needs a lot of patience

Sorry this took so long @Seerose. My screen ware had changed since I last used it, so I had to relearn .
