Hello, Pixey and thank you very much for the answer! BTW I have the last version of paint.net and my default shortcuts are different. So, in my case to open the layers window is F7 (without any modifier keys).

Can I have a default layout, so every time I open the program I see the same set of windows, each one in its own place (regardless of whether some were closed or moved during the last session before the program was closed)? Like this for example:

Hello, where do I find the Rounded Rectangle tool which is mentioned here in the step #2? Using this page I could only find the effect clled Rounded Rectangle (this one), which is obviously not the same thing. Thank you. UPDATE: I've just found it. Please delete my post.
