Hello @Magician and Welcome to the forum You could also try to "paint" the clips out. I did a quick try with your first image by: 1. Pick the color of your background close to the clips with the color picker 2. Make a new layer above your image and using the paint brush and the line/curve tools draw around the clip 3. You may need to smudge or Gaussian Blur to smooth the lines 4. Then you can flatten your image

A very Merry Christmas to Everyone here on the forum. I wish you a Happy Holiday and a wonderful New Year. Don't eat too much and take care when riding your sleighs Inspired by a recent trip to New York during a snow storm, I made this from scratch in Paint.net. Hope it passes the muster test

Beautiful renditions @Seerose - the 2nd last is my favourite and I'd hang it on my wall anytime

Multi Color Gradient v3.0 (May 17, 2018)
Pixey replied to romein's topic in Plugins - Publishing ONLY!
So, I just removed the Plugin and re-loaded and also find that it now does appear in the Effects Drop-down. I have edited the 1st page and made clearer the download for the Plugin. Many thanks @IHaveNoName for pointing this out 🧐 -
Hi @mackenzieh here is a Photoshop tutorial which should be easy enough to do in paint.net: https://www.sitepoint.com/create-sleek-stylish-laptop-and-monitor-mockups-in-photoshop/ At Step 8 you could use this tutorial for the circle. And, for the metal around the edge, you would have to make a frame and perhaps use bevel and then Metalize.

Palette from Image...
Pixey replied to ScrapbookWithPDN's topic in Paint.NET Discussion and Questions
Hi @ScrapbookWithPDN. Hope you are well also. I still look at your fabulous website every now and then I think you may be thinking of Curtis Black's "Selective from Palette" If so, I'm afraid a lot of his Plugins are no longer compatible with paint.net. Let's see what the Plugin developers have to say about your request -
how do i make realistic mud splatter
Pixey replied to amdcrash's topic in Paint.NET Discussion and Questions
Hello @amdcrash and Welcome Your best bet would be to get yourself some mud brushes found here. To learn how to add and use them in paint.net: https://forums.getpaint.net/topic/15218-simon-bs-plugin-pack-custom-brushes-editable-text-and-more-2014-06-22/ Good Luck -
I downloaded this new Beta a few hours ago. Everything was working, except that the PSD Plugin (PhotoShop.dll) was not showing in the effects drop down, despite the plugin being in the File Types Folder. Then I tried to take a screen shot, to show you, and after pasting into paint.net it crashed:
