  1. Hello @Capt.Marsh and welcome to the forum Perhaps you are not proficient at making straight lines free hand. I know I wouldn't be able to draw a straight line without help. Perhaps use one of the handy plugins:
  2. Aww - they all look so darn cute @BlastOfBN you are doing a great job πŸ₯°
  3. @CHRISSY945 I wonder if we are missing something here? This is what we mean when we talk about Opacity. If you lower it, the result will be blurry:
  4. I'm sorry @Omninano but you must upgrade: You are running an older version of Paint.NET and need to upgrade to paint.net version 5.0.11 first. Click HERE to get started.
  5. Yes, it's only compatible up to v4.0.5. Until it's fixed, there is an alternative by @BoltBait called Level/Horizon Plumbob.
  6. Hello @Tabatha an welcome to PDN I just checked the download and it is downloading alright. Please check your download file on your computer. It sounds like you have the Store Bought version of paint.net, so the Plugins are stored (after unzipping) in a new folder that you must generate. Please read halfway down this page: https://www.getpaint.net/doc/latest/InstallPlugins.html
  7. Are you 100% sure that: 1. The text is not the same as the Background color? 2. You are typing your text on a new, transparent layer?
  8. Yes, this time I tested it - I had problems. The Tool Tips return with movement of layers. Here is a video of what I experienced.
  9. Please restart paint.net and try again You are using this on the layer of your image that has a color?
  10. Hello @Dafas and welcome to the forum I think what you are asking is for the hatch lines to be farther apart that the Fill option? There is another Plugin called Parallel Lines and Patterns which may be better for getting the wider lines.
  11. @Idontreallywannamakeanacco I edited your image as it was not showing. When you post the code from Imgur, you must copy the 'Direct Link". Please post your Diagnostics:
  12. Thank you @Red ochre and @null54 😍 FYI - I had to use 'Right click' and open in new tab to get the download to work. Computers πŸ€ͺ
  13. As of 10/24/23 at 11.38 EST the links to the updated version are not working for me 😱 Fixed by @null54 - many thanks
  14. @ALTaccount I googled the image from your 'source', and brought it into PDN and also got the line, so it's coming from there. The 'source' was flagged on my computer as 'unsafe' so I can't link to it on here.
  15. So I learned something today, after I looked GIF up 😬 "GIF images are widely used on the Web because the format is compressed and takes up less space." 😁 (I'd assumed they were all animated).
  16. I thought a .gif was supposed to move? Doesn't for me πŸ€”
