  1. NO - you can just allow it to be overwritten, in case it needs updating. If it doesn't need updating, just ignore it. Please find your Effects folder, like this: The first image shows you how to find the Effects Folder. Then open the Effects Folder and look for the PlugInData.dll and tell us if it is in there please.
  2. Simples ........ you go to the Plugin Browser thread and download it again. First use the Search: https://www.getpaint.net/search.html Type in Plugin Browser: And then you get it: The Plugin Browser v1.3.1.0 (April 28, 2020) - Plugins - Publishing ONLY! - paint.net Forum (getpaint.net)
  3. Perhaps it is hidden. Go to Distort - if you have a black arrow click on it to expand:
  4. It is a picture of what is on your screen. Think of it as the "Subject" like this thread we are on now is the: 'Image-umbrella-destop-art' thread.
  5. I guess this means that you must post "the image you made in paint.net yourself," and not something you just copied from somewhere else. For a big image, no larger than 600 x 800 you must first find a host site, like https://postimages.org/ which you can join up for free. Then copy this code to post into the paint.net thread: For a Thumbnail: join IMGUR and then copy the last 7 digits of your image, here is an example: 1. Imgur : 2. Click on the black box with the red circle in the paint.net thread:

  7. @sashwilko I'm just curious about something. Aren't you now out of the woods, as you had Covid and should now be immune?

  9. Hello @Mammoth and welcome to the forum This color section would be for Effects that fall into that category. You have to first add the .dlls to the Effects folder in paint.net. Please read How to Add Plugins here.
  10. Sometimes it's worth checking your download folder on your computer, as they can go directly there with no message in your toolbar.
  11. Violin made in paint.net.
  12. Hello @MikeG65 You could try using the Clone Stamp tool but it's a bit fiddly 🤪 Another way, with a bit of care, is to copy an area with as close to the color you are replacing, and copy and paste it into a new layer above your image: < Clickable >
  13. Wow @Cakie67 that is absolutely beautiful 👍 Featherwind just jumps off the page. Fantastic coloring and placement of the textures. You get an A+
  14. I just checked and I still have @BoltBait's Bevel Selection in place. Did you use his installer recently? You may have had the box for Bevel Selection unchecked. I'm pretty sure if that's the case, then it can take the plugin away ......... but I might be wrong 🤔
  15. Yes, you have to put the .dll into a folder in Paint.net. It will be different for the Store bought version and the free classic version. How to is described here: https://www.getpaint.net/doc/latest/InstallPlugins.html
  16. After doing a Google search, this is what I found: "The closest font you can get for the Philadelphia Eagles logo is Square Slabserif 711 Bold font."
  17. Hello @Kathleen Stemler and welcome to the forum I use this Plugin called TR's Doge and Burn Tool: TR's Dodge and Burn (Blur and Sharpen)(Feb 25th, 2015) Re-Posted - Page 3 - Plugins - Publishing ONLY! - paint.net Forum (getpaint.net) The download link is found on the first page under his last video.
  18. @Cakie67 If you have the Reversed Fisheye already, then it must be this one: Are you sure you are putting the .dlls into the Effects Folder that you made after you downloaded the Store Bought version of Paint.net? You know you had to make your own folder for them? " a folder in Documents called "paint.net App Files" then a set of sub-folders including one called Effects." No, I'm not into that - too much script and lines for me to digest 🤪
  19. Hi @Ladybug I've moved your question over to the discussion thread I'm so glad you liked the kitty mug. The kitties were simply font found here: https://www.dafont.com/catcrypt.font I simply filled the page with lines of the font and then used Shape 3D to make the shape
  20. Hello @Azi bros and welcome to the forum As you are new, please read our Rules, especially #11 - thank you
  21. Hello @jaca44 you could use the Lasso Select tool to cut out ragged edges, then use AA's Assistant and some Drop shadow to finish. And here is a video for a torn edge:
  22. @Cakie67 there are only two Fisheye Plugins and they are both TR's. Perhaps you are looking for The Reverse Fisheye: https://forums.getpaint.net/topic/27814-trs-reverse-fisheye-v10/ The Stray Pixel Remover can be found here:
  23. @SrOozma - this thread is very old, so I'm locking it. Thanks for your input though
