  1. I confirm that the 8bf filter is crashing>
  2. Well, I think I'll have to put that on my To-Do list πŸ˜‚
  3. I can confirm the crash. It works on an image and then crashes after you exit:
  4. I guess I need to start a sub folder just for Glassy veg & fruit Many thanks @lynxster4 πŸ’– And thank you @Red ochre for the Rep πŸ₯³
  5. Hello @Betty and welcome to the forum 1. On the first page download the DLL. 2. Your virus ware may flag it, but ignore it as it is safe. 3. Check your download folder and unzip it. 4. Add the DLL to your Effects Folder in the paint.net folder. Then restart paint.net.
  6. Hello @Fenyy and welcome to the forum You also posted in the wrong thread, so I've moved to "Discussion and Questions". Also, we don't 'shout' with big letters, so I changed your title. If you have the file saved in .pdn, then open it and Save it to .png.
  7. Thank you @BlastOfBN @Tactilis and @ReMake for looking and the Reps too πŸ₯°
  8. Not really as there are so many shadows. You could do it painstakingly via the Magic wand and play with the Tolerance to pick up the outlines, make a new layer, and add the white. Then, with the rectangle select tool, go over to neaten it up. 1. Remove the background from here: https://www.remove.bg/
  9. A piece of my latest rendition in Paint.net - hope you like it
  10. I'm not sure what desktop app you are referring to, but the usual way is to download the Zip file, open it, then copy the .dll into your paint.net Effects folder. Oh and welcome to the forum @twkofficial 😊
  11. Wow! That's some archive and all - jolly well done πŸ₯³
  12. Hello @flaviusCrispus and welcome There is another Clouds Plugin which may be what you are looking for.
  13. How so? If you have an object on a single layer, just choose where you want it with any Align Object Plugin. If you put another object on another layer, just repeat the process and it will align up exactly as you did the first one. Again, if you start a new layer, just add the newly placed object/s and duplicate, and flip to which ever position you want. Also see here:
  14. Great work @lynxster4 I love the shading πŸ‘ They all look so delicious
  15. Could be that they are supposed to be different @Mister F How are italics different from roman type? Italics are sloping letters. Roman type is upright and the default font type. Italic type makes text stand out from surrounding roman type.Apr 19, 2023

  17. He said he tried that already, with no joy. To be honest, this is a mystery. Can you take your computer to a help center somewhere? I know you said a pal had helped you already, but a second opinion might be a good idea. Also, you could also try this: Press the Windows key + S simultaneously. Type β€œdisk cleanup” and press Enter. Click Run as administrator. If prompted, select the drive you want to search for temp files to clean. Click OK. Review the description for each file type and select or deselect them as needed. Click OK.
  18. It would help if you posted a precise image of what you are aiming for And, welcome to the forum @Vercci
  19. Ahh - I thought you wanted to make a plugin image/interface. If you are looking on how to make buttons, there is a tutorial here. The PDF should still have the original pictures intact. It may be a good idea to take a look in the Tutorials thread, on how to make things using Paint.net
  20. You would first have to learn how to use/write code. Please read here: https://boltbait.com/pdn/CodeLab/help/tutorial.php
  21. Then you will need to download it from here: https://forums.getpaint.net/topic/16643-dpys-plugin-pack-2014-05-04/
  22. Try this: https://www.dotpdn.com/downloads/pdn.html
  23. It's worth the try - but let's see what @Rick Brewster or another Admin/Mod thinks first. It's odd that the other tool didn't pick up anything πŸ™„
  24. You can rely on Windows Defender which is already on your computer. Another person who had this problem did this: be sure to look at the hidden code:
  25. So the new computer can't download it either? What virus ware are you using on your computer? Hope it's not Norton!
