  1. thanks ASH jannetsue put me on to it. I always just call it grid so I've got that one. never called it checkers. @Jannetsue, aren't computors fun. know where you are coming from, when you say new gallery lots to learn. I only just learned the thumbs myself. Had to ask the young ones, but as always they were more than willing to help me learn. Nice bunch of young men and women here. ciao OMA
  2. jannetsue lovely when is the grand opening of your gallery? I especially think first one is awesome. but what is checkers? I missed an effect?

thanks topezia, in the mean time here is a little preview work I'll share with you all. A frame can be so much more than a border around a picture. basic frame which I've shared on my DA see this thread in PDN for the link page 2 viewtopic.php?f=12&t=23723 here is what the frame looks like I shared 1) polar to rect settings 0 and 200 I then doubled the canvas size to twice the width duplicated layer and aligned on layer to the right and other to the left and merged. 2) multiwrap 420 1.0 reflect I'm going to try and work these into the balcony behind my ballerina, if I can get the settings correct.
  6. 600 x 800 The frame is read and resized to the image. So the best is to have the frame at the dimension of the image to avoid any distortion. excellent results when you change colors using color balance or ed harveys effects. I share with you at this link just download the zip file.
  7. Oh no salu! you are almost there with that paint splash picture. work on it a bit more. you're getting the hang of it. ciao OMA
  8. this has always been one of my favourites, had this plug in from day one , love the update rotation. ciao OMA
  9. is there an actual reason you refuse to put screen shots of before and after in your plugin first post? even a screen shot of the ui might give us all a chance to figure it out. This really isn't the first time this has been brought up with you. If you are unsure please have a look at how Madjik presents new plugins. That really is the best way, as we all are not plugin experts and can't read your mind.

thanks I'm still working on learning to draw. I did get a great book from chapters called Drawing the Head and Figure by Jack Hamm. it really helped me learn proper proportions. I saw a big improvement after that. on this picture I've still a lot of shading to do. have to work the head portion into the neck yet using shadows etc. Doing the face is the hardest and longest part for me. but will plug away a little bit each day. thanks for stoping by and looking.
  11. I didn't try this but maybe you could adapt the splash of this tut somehow. for some reason the drips running down the can aren't right,? would they not be going in direction of the ground? maybe when you have a base/floor in things will look better. viewtopic.php?t=3596 edit just had another thought maybe angle the splash portion back a bit with the rotatezoom ball/button.
  12. nice one madjik I converted to flames and made an awesome tunnel using this frame. Just a question for clarification. I'm feeling like making some frames to share, but want them suitable for just add around 4x6 picture to take to good old wally mart for printing. Should I make my frames to share 300 dpi and what size? is best to share here. ciao OMA
  13. I'd offer to help you out but then that would be against the rules. " I'm not supposed to ask to be a mod." and we all know OMA loves everyones work. The galleria would be overflowing in no time.
  14. here is the bullet hole tut viewtopic.php?t=5155 but I'm thinking you need to also look at madjiks page curl effect you could modify that a bit and use his ideas on shading the page curls edges.
  15. I nominated an item today for approval, Bolt Bait must be busy. I'm sure if you nominated anything he will get to checking it when he has a chance.

thanks she's not done yet. there will be much more having heck of a time with the dress. but I'll work it out.
  19. I hear you jannetsue, I too have hard time sometimes with where to place my pictures. Many of them cross the boundries between abstract and fantasy. That explination I gave is just part of the whole abstract umberella. Seems on this forum its a catchall for everything.
  20. thanks for the update Madjik. been using the old version since it came out and the new updates will make this even better. ciao
  21. love the latest addition to your library. I'll have to try that tut for the glassy letters. Would love to see this in the tut section cross overed to Paint.Net. ciao OMA

droste with my own 100% paint.net made brush. not the best picture but It was a fast one to check the transparency glass showed up properly when used as a brush. and to let sabrown see I'd made brush not frame. I don't have frame plugin on my computor so if someone what to check if it works in frames go ahead and just let me know. its going to be removed very shortly
