TechnoRobbo
I typed in "frame" into Plugin browser and found these: Frames by Madjik http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?showtopic=6210 Custom Frame by Simon brown http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?showtopic=9147 Pixelated From by Simob Brown http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?showtopic=9303 and Polaroid Frame by Ego Eram Reputo http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?showtopic=9303 PostEdit: I'm not sure if any of these do what you want but they are worth a gander,Simon browns Custorm worked under PDN 3.5 Pixelated frame was a broken link Quote Go out there and be amazing. Eli
Thanks to you too TR. But how about starting a frame from a (square) picture and then tile it all around the canvas? and make sure that the corners are joined at a 45 degree angle. I just tried to use Simon Browns plugin but it crashed in the old and new versions of Paint.NET Borders and shapes is good but the patterns are limited to dots and dashes. How can I add for example a daisy. Edited October 19, 2014 by Eli
TechnoRobbo
BTW - IMHO Madjik's works the best. Pyrochild also has Borders and Shapes in his plugin pak But how about starting a frame from a (square) picture and then tile it all around the canvas? and make sure that the corners are joined at a 45 degree angle. I see, an image stretch around the border. I'll mull it over. Quote Go out there and be amazing. Goonfella
Here is another image I have been working on. You can get amazing grass textures with this plugin. The trees are, of course, made with TRs Treemaker plugin although the sky is a stock image. 2 Quote Please feel free to visit my Gallery on PDNFans And my Alternatives to PDN

Goonfella
TR - the height map for the grass was not noise , it was an image a leaf texture shown below. There are several layers using different blending modes and settings. Pratyush, here is the height Map I used - Nice image Seerose. skullbonz
I'm loving this plug in but have run into a road block on this. First I made this and saved it as a png; Then I opened new and used this gradient as a base; I opened your Third Dimension plugin and tried to bring the checker board image in as the height map and got this message; I am stumped by this message. Any ideas on what I am doing wrong? Quote http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?/topic/21233-skullbonz-art-gallery
Eli
Hello skullbonz, I think I saw a warning about using indexed images but I can not find it any more (I did not know what it meant). Try updating the plugin (TR may have made some changes).
TechnoRobbo
Save the image as a PNG again and when you re-save the image save it as a 32 bit image. Indexed images are like GIF's they are limited to 256 colors - PNG-8 is also indexed. Known as 8 bit images. PDN prompts you when it saves a PNG, but most people autodetect (low color or black and white gets saved as indexed to save space) - to have a full height map you must select 32bit from the menu. sashwilko
I'm confused. How do you combine another image as you have done on the Tidal Wave picture, when I try to add to an image, it overwrites the first one.
Eli
Hello sashwilko, try the plugin using diferent layers (one for the tides and one for the city). Edited October 24, 2014 by Eli
