HELEN
I had to see what "Little Alice" was about because it's my sister's name. I really, really love this piece! Very shiny, too! I thought it is a thumb and was clicking on it. Quote My GalleryMy YouTube Channel "PDN Tutorials"

A few kinks to sort out that the eagle eyed AFG spotted (like the top is a bit off etc  ). Ill make a thumbnail just for you to click
yy10
I like the little alice as well. But the background is a bit dull and I agree with soka, you need to feather the bottle. Quote deviantART sigs n stuff
nemo
well when i get round to redoing the piece im making it nice and big but also think im going to 'jazz up' the background, its a bit dull like you say at the moment

yellowman
No nemo they are not coming your way, they say if you are seeing the meteoroid then you are safe, and even a broken clock gives exact time twice a day . I like your Disney style clock, the blending work is awesome, I like it, it is correct at 10:10 or X:X :?: Quote My GalleryMy YouTube Channel "PDN Tutorials"
nemo
i should be fine then, uhm well to be honest it was easier for that time so you could see the detail etc of the lower half of the image, ill just say "yeaahhhh he was meant to be there for 10...honest...." nemo
Heres a wip of a hween piece..its of no priority but its coming along nicely. Hoping to get this complete for hween among several over pieces If you would like any of the earlier stages of development please just ask. Simple painting really, anyone can do it as long as you know shades...working on a tutorial for some of my more complex painting techniques/effects but dont expect anything soon  Plans for this piece: I already have a name and idea of what i want doing in my head. Implimenting them will be the tricky part. I am hoping to get a character to it and bring it to life somewhat..once i release the title i hope that some of you will realise what it is based on
yy10
Nice one! But I'm really more concerned about the tut. Anyway, it looks quite nice. Why do you blur everything? Quote deviantART sigs n stuff
nemo
i find it easy to work with a blurred image as a base* then fill in detail later. This is going to be just the base of the skull edit: most simple example i can think of is you know when people paint models they often give it a base colour? i basically do the same on most of my pieces (a lot of the time its not needed). Great way to help you figure out where the shading tones and such will need to go when you start on detailed areas
theonlychad
very nice i cant wait for the tut ... oh yeah i am making some web 2.0 buttons ... also am preparing a tut for web buttons and such with my web 2.0 button being the starter. Frontcannon
That's a cool skull, very nice work on the perspective and lightning! (old skull painter reporting in ) It's still very edgy, though, and I want to see the teeth Quote Night Vision Text Effect Tutorial Gallery reddit.com/r/futurebeats | My Mixcloud
