oma
excellent orb not just the run of the mill round circle and done. The colors look good together and I like the charcol shades of grey rather than true black. gives much more sophisticated look. ciao OMA Quote My Deviant Art Gallery Oma's Paint.Net gallery

Sharp
Thanks guys @ oma: Haha, while I was making it I thought full black looked wierd, so I made sure it wasn't 100% black Quote [Glass Ball Tutorial] [My Gallery] [starscape Tutorial] [My Sig Tutorial] [My dA]

Sharp
Testing out some techniques on a starscape, gonna do a larger one and put more effort into it, either monday or tuesday Quote [Glass Ball Tutorial] [My Gallery] [starscape Tutorial] [My Sig Tutorial] [My dA]
Sozo
Yeah, that's pretty close to the result I'm talking about. From there you can to try to follow the tutorial by Greg Martin to add color and texture.
Goonfella
Lovely starscape. I use Greg Martin`s method as well and you can get some very realistic outcomes from it. Nice variation between large/small stars. I`m looking forward to seeing what you add to this. Quote Please feel free to visit my Gallery on PDNFans And my Alternatives to PDN

yy10
Awesome Starscape. I'm not really a big fan of them but I can tell it's really good! Great job on yuor sig as well. Quote deviantART sigs n stuff

barkbark00
Love the orb...in your sig. The full res version is a little choppy in places. Maybe down-sizing by 10%+ would help, no? Otherwise, great job! Quote Take responsibility for your own intelligence. 😉 -Rick Brewster
Sharp
Thanks I'd noticed a few places where it was choppy, but couldn't fix them for the life of me :? Sharp
Please make a tutorial for that When they give awards, im going to be the one that asks for tuts most. Tip: Gradients and alpha masks I use alpha masks constantly, no matter what I'm making. When I add a new shape(Or ring, in the orb piece), I hide all the other layers, add a new black layer underneath, Then use and to get the shape to white. I'm pretty sure I used 7 or 8 different masks in the orb pic.
