Rokitman
I'm looking for a plugin that will position text along a curve. I've tried Gravity and Circle Text. But neither of them can position text along a curve that is close to horizontal. I need more control over the degree of curvature. Seems like a simple thing. But I can't find a plugin that does this? I'm making a project that is roughly a 24" circle and want to position text to follow the contour. So it won't be a real steep curve. EDIT: If this is not possible in PDN, is there a plugin that will create cloud shapes that text can be entered into? Thanx Edited February 18 by Rokitman
Ego Eram Reputo
Text Distortion or Arc Text should be able to do what you want. Regarding the text on a curve, yes it can be difficult to get the 'curve' in a precise position There is a "Shape" that is available to make a Cloud call out, and can be found here. Copy the shape .xmal into the Shapes Folder, found in the paint.net Folder, restart paint and find it in Shapes. This is definitely an option if I can't get the curved text I want.

Pixey
This is using Circular Text. In the options window have the first 2 settings at Zero Quote How I made Jennifer & Halle in Paint.net My Gallery | My Deviant Art "Rescuing one animal may not change the world, but for that animal their world is changed forever!" anon. Welsh Yellow Cheddar
@xod Thanks! It's just what I needed for another vocabulary activity. Could an undo/erase/remove nub feature be added?

BDP
xod, I was quite successful with my first attempt with your plugin, but found it would be helpful to add more nubs in when needed. Good stuff! Brian

xod
Tips: 1. Use the grid and put 4 points in the 4 corners of a square 2. Check Closed Path check box 3. Move the Tension slider to 80 and you get a circle Also you can get an Ellipse only moving 2 points
