xod
When you check 'Grid' and change the font the plug-in crashes. This issue was resolved in the new version 1.0.7.0.

To @xod: if you're going to distribute an OptionBasedEffects plugin, you really should include a copy of the OptionBasedEffects DLLs. Yes, you need the two OptionBasedLibrary.dll and OptionBasedLibrary.dlc files to be copied to the Paint.Net folder and not to the Effects folder. I uploaded these two files together with TextDistortion on Mediafire.

If you click on the temporary link in @flaner's post above your post, that link is downloading just fine. P.S. I just checked the download in @xod's first post and it's working also. 1 Quote How I made Jennifer & Halle in Paint.net My Gallery | My Deviant Art "Rescuing one animal may not change the world, but for that animal their world is changed forever!" anon. frans279
Greetings members. I'm trying to add text distortion files (from a zip folder) to my paint.net effects folder. BUT I don't appear to have the Effects folder. What I have you can see in the attachment. So, as you can see in the url, theres WindowsApp, followed by dotPDNLLC....., but others appear to have WhatsApp-Paintnet-Effects. So, what's wrong and how do i fix this. Thanks. BoltBait
If you're running the store version, you need to put them in a different place: C:\Users\xxxxxx\Documents\paint.net User Files\Effects Hope this helps, BoltBait Quote Download: BoltBait's Plugin Pack | CodeLab | and a Computer Dominos Game

TextDistortion.zip 67.32 kB · 280 downloads Hi. I had this plug in on my old computer and have updated to a new computer. I have tried many times to get the text distortion plug in to work. I have filed to do so. I use it constantly and would love to get it loaded back on. I placed it the files/paint.net/effects folder and nothing. Any help would be apprecuiated.....I am getting frustrated. Thanks so much. Mark

Pixey
Also @Mark C. you also need the "OptionalBasedLibrary".dlc/dll which, I think go in the File Types Folder. Can you corroborate please @toe_head2001. I know recently, that may have changed.
