There are at least 3 sizes used: 20px, 28px and on hover about 35px. One option is to remove brush and shading. Or place white colored hand inside yellow-orange circle... We don't know if a viewer is using a dark or light theme for the forum and many browsers do not display transparency consistently either. A black cat with black whiskers won't look very good against a black background! Coal-shed, snowstorm etc. Please can we include a simple background? Sometimes more complex backgrounds are intrinsic to the image too? eg. Versus The concept of an 'object' normally works for things like text but makes no sense for anything remotely realistic... basically anything that reflects light! I suggest the competition should become 'Image of the fortnight' as default, perhaps with occasional 'object' themes and rules? I'll post some cats with backgrounds but if they break the rules I'm quite happy to be barred from the competition. The practice and challenge has been very useful and enjoyable! The final image to be on a 'transparent background' 2. The automatic background for the theme would be 'set' to white.
