  1. Plugins used - ZigZag (TechnoRobbo) and Furblur (Redochre) Using my own picture.
  2. The theme this week is – Redochre & TechnoRobbo’s Plugins And has been chosen by – Pixey (SOTW#111 Winner) This week you are invited to design a signature using One plugin from Each of the above mentioned developers, you can select any of their plugin’s, but use only One from each to create your entry. Below are links to their plugin packs. Redochre Plugin Pack TechnoRobbo Plugin Pack The deadline for entries is 7:00pm (UK Time) on Sunday August 10. To see how that equates to other countries, here is a link to the World Time Competition rules. 1. Max sig dimensions 500x200. Please NOTE: The forum limits signatures to 500x150, if it is too large do not try to use it as your sig. 2. Please keep your sig family friendly. 3. Keep to the theme that has been set. 4. You may modify or replace your image until the deadline! 5. Don’t violate copyright laws with found images; links to source images would be courteous. 6. Your entry must be made using paint.net, please don't use an outside image editor and try passing it off as PDN work. The winner of the current SOTW gets to choose the subject for the next competition. Good luck all and thank you in advance for entering. Thanks to - chrisco97, Sozo, TheHowler, Nitenurse79 and DrewDale for keeping this comp going in the past This thread is for posting your entries only. If you want to talk about any of the entries, you can do so in the discussion thread found here.. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  3. No reply from Chimay, thus far, so I shall just go ahead and set up this weeks comp to keep things running.
  4. The voting has now closed and the results are in. First place with 15 votes is - Pixey. Second place with 11 votes is Riddley. Third place with 9 votes is DrewDale (hey that's me) Sharing Fourth place is Nitenurse and Nai with 8 votes each. I will send a PM to Pixey for the next topic and to Chimay (who I assume will be running the next comp) Well done to all who took part and all who voted
  5. Chimay is off on his travels once again this week and has asked me to look after the poll. You may pick Four sigs that catch your eye this week. The poll will close at 9PM (UK Time) on Sunday August 3rd To see how that equates to other countries, here is a link to the World Time
  6. Yes I did read both threads. If I recall the clouds entry one, I gave it a Rep point, very good image Our country has had it's flag burned during many conflicts and our service men have died in large numbers, personally I pay my respects in a different way - Fund raising for Help the heroes, attending services for fallen troops based in the middle east - and not by entering a competition with my thoughts. You are twisting this around as if I am someone with no feelings, I have deepest sympathy for all on board that flight, no matter what country they came from, no matter what their religion / colour / background / creed, they did not deserve to die. I am on your side 100% with that.
  7. If I was to find something really important, I would not enter a competition with my beliefs in order to score points. There is a lot of things I feel very strongly about that may or may not offend people, but I for one would not enter a competition with a design based on it. Yes the MH17 Disaster IS terrible and important, but I would have been more impressed if Nai had made a signature remembering the 298 innocent souls who died.
  8. Agreed. We all have opinions / reactions to things going on in the world, I don't think they have a place on a forum for artwork to be shown or entered in a competition. Back on topic: Nitenurse - Great colours from you as always, love the whole glossy look to it and the background is amazing, nice font and the reflection works just right - 1 point. Nai - I agree with your sentiment / message, but as mentioned above, it's not really the place for it here. A nice design and that's all - 0 point. Score: Nitenurse - 1 Nai - 0 Well done to RFX for winning the last round
  9. We all have been there, learning from tutorials on this forum is a good way to start, reading through other general questions on here can also be of help, plus this is one of the best forums where help is always on hand.
  10. If you want to remove the white (or black for that matter) from an image use Grim Color Reaper plugin found here - http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?showtopic=15595 Remember to save your completed image as a .png in order to retain the transparent background See attached image for magic wand options.
  11. Go here http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=5842 and select the right one for your machine.
  12. I think they are both the same developer Pixey, one for beta and one for finalised plugins (May be wrong)
  13. Nice to see you back Chimay. I hope you enjoyed the Czech republic, some very good sights to be had over there
  14. Thanks EER & Barbieq. I have sent him a PM with this weeks topic, If he is still offline before then, I will look after it until he returns
  15. Glad you got it sorted out and downloaded without problems, if your using either google chrome or firefox, you can install an ad-blocker so you won't see any confusing links anywhere.
  16. Get it from this link here http://www.dotpdn.com/downloads/pdn.html Click on the link as shown in the image posted below here.
  17. Hi Kelly. It is only giving you that warning prompt because it is a .dll not in a zip folder. You are OK to download it
