  1. BoltBait also has a drop shadow plugin called Object Shadow v4.5 in his Plugin Pack Link to example illustration: http://apmauldin.com/Image_Storage/Screenshot_2019_12_23.png
  2. Greetings, A simple solution is to use a plugin to set up your Drop Shadow orientation and apply it to the your airplane image after each rotation. ( Click on the link below for an illustrated example ) http://apmauldin.com/Image_Storage/Screenshot_2019_12_22.png Required Plugin: _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Drop Shadow 19 Feb 2008KrisVDM Creates a highly configurable shadow around an object. 3. It may help to Run the DISM ( Deployment Image Servicing and Management ) and use with the RestoreHealth option. Open Start. Search for Command Prompt, right-click the top result, and select the Run as administrator option. Type the following command and press Enter: DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth (It will take a while for this process to complete! Windows will access remote servers to download and update system files)
  4. By now I hope that you have updated both Windows and Paint.NET.
  5. Many times an 'image repair' will require the skill of a photo retoucher who will have to digitally 'paint in' and/or composite content that will match the original scene.
  6. It works like 'Content Aware' and 'Spot-Healing Brush' in Photoshop. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=68PFhYhpWCE There is a 'Content Aware Fill Plugin' for Paint.NET:
  7. If this formatting problem does not occur while using other browsers, why not re-install Firefox and see if that resolves this issue?
  8. Greetings, Maybe you could install the TRsColorReducer.dll and then go to the Paint.NET Settings and see if there is a Plugin Error for that .dll.
  9. That is the consideration. My thinking was that the OP was either trying to resurrect a volume of code to possibly re-edit in a text editor, or make clear 16 characters that can achieved by simply installing a suitable Dot Matrix font. I tried using the OCR capability of OneNote and several other OCR apps. None could satisfactorily read the character strings without producing too many errors for using it to produce text for editing purposes.
  10. Here is a link that explains how to accomplish what you requested: https://www.lifewire.com/how-to-change-file-associations-in-windows-2624477
  11. Before I added my comment above, I had to use the Plugin Browser to find where this plugin resided. There have been a few times where the creator of a plugin failed to include information about where the plugin could be found. I see that Reptillian has corrected this omission.
  12. I take it that you want to make more than two lines of characters to make darker. If I am wrong it may be better to use a Dot Matrix font and re-create those two lines. If I am correct; it may be better to use OCR software to read your characters into a text document. There is OCR capability in Microsoft One Note, which is free in Windows 10.
  13. Thanks for the Modulo plugin Toolkit! I have tested it with gray scale and full 24 bit color image, and a few in between. I love the Adjustment Effect! Before I was using the Metalize Effect to achieve what I needed, but your Adjustment appears to have greater variation yet it is simple to use.
  14. Nice work! I work with large canvases because I have large prints of my works produced.
  15. @Ima Learnin If you are printing from within Adobe Photoshop; it has its own printing utility. If you are printing outside of Photoshop you are using the printing utility of Microsoft Windows. (Unless you printer has its own printing utility or you use a proprietary printing utility) Within the Windows printing utility it has a check box to: Fit picture to frame. If this box is checked and your image was not cropped to fit the 8 x 10 aspect ratio (2.4:3 ) before printing; it will be distorted upon printing. Paint.NET has a printing utility plugin that works great. It is the Print It (Tools Effect) by Martin Osieka. Here is the link: https://www.dropbox.com/s/2tc4vk9kc1rvmvv/PrintIt.Effect v0.9.zip?dl=0 (You don't have to sign in, just clink on the download icon next to the sign in icon) BTW: A cropped 8 x 10 image optimized to print at 300 dpi should be ~2400 x 3000 pixels (7.2 Megapixels)
