  1. jwpatser, I think you should ask for help with what is shown here at a Windows 7 tech support forum.
  2. hsl, Your NET Framework may need to be repaired. Because the NET Framework up to 3.5 SP1 is included in the Windows 7 OS, I believe that using sfc /scannow is the correct way to repair the NET Framework. http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/15 ... ecker.html

  6. jwpatser, Have you had Paint.NET installed previously on this system? If you are having difficulty updating or uninstalling, be sure to read this thread. Please post what OS version you have, ( XP, Vista, etc. ) and what OS Service Pack level is installed. Also, are you fully current on Windows Updates?

  15. ambertape, Please say what OS version you are using, XP, Vista, etc. Also, what OS Service Pack level you have installed, and whether you are fully current on Windows Updates. Please make a screenshot of the error message and post it here.
  16. tryingtolearnthis, Open your Image B with Paint.NET. Next, in the top menu - Layers > Import from File, import your Image A. If you have already cut the center out of Image A, as you've said, then you should now have the background showing through the center. If it looks the way you want it to, in the top menu - Image > Flatten. File > Save as ... Save as PNG. If this doesn't work, then pls. post the two images here so that we can see better what is happening.

  20. Does Add/Remove programs show Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 sp1? It is required.
  21. Just to add on to what oma has posted, Displacement Map is not yet listed in the individual plugin section of the index. It is listed in the plugins by author section though. It's part of the Curtis plugin pack.
