  1. This has worked for others: With your example of a 20"x20" image, use the Sprite Helper to divide the image into 5"x10" pieces. Open each 5"x10" image individually in Paint.NET. Expand the canvas to 8"x10", Anchored in the Middle. Image > Canvas Size ... ------------------------------------------ Print at 8x10 setting. ======================================================== Previous example.
  2. Right-click > Install ========================== If the font comes in a zip, either extract the zip contents first or copy/paste the font file out before installing.
  3. Here's some recent discussion around this topic:
  4. I just installed that font, and it shows in the Paint.NET font list. (I'm using Vista, also) My Paint.NET font drop-down opens not showing the top of the list, so I have to scroll up to see this font.
  5. Do you already have some asteroid pictures that you want to use as the basis for the text?
  6. What Paint.NET version are you using? Current version is 3.5.5 . What font is it specifically? Please provide the link that you used to download it.
  7. Yes. Your version is out of date. http://www.getpaint.net/download.html#download
  8. What version of Paint.NET are you using? Current version is 3.5.5
  9. Pressing Esc or Ctrl+D works too. For some unknown reason my sig isn't showing in this thread. Can anyone else see it? (Such as it is.) ======================================== Aha! It shows in this post, but not in the old ones.
  10. This may, (or might not), help with the pawn: Before rotating the pawn, resize it up by two or factors of two. (2, 4, 8, 16, ...) (This is in terms of width and height dimension, not area.) Then rotate and resize down.
  11. Does it seem to be flashing in code? Perhaps an alien species is trying to communicate with us.
  12. For me, the scroll bar usually moves to the top when I press Alt. No flashes, though.
  13. You are referring to JPEG files? If so, the file may have been saved originally at 70% to 80%. When you edit it, then save at 100%, it will result in a bigger file size.
  14. Yeah, I was wondering whether the "1500 W" is a typo.
  15. The best work-around is to work on an oversize canvas, then resize down once you have things looking the way you want them to.
  16. =File%20Folder%20Settings"]Restore Default File Associations This may help, if your file associations for .zip are screwed up. A similar situation.
  17. If you are given a choice between Open with and Save File when downloading, choose Save File. It sounds like your OS file associations may be screwed up. What OS version are you using? (XP, Vista, etc.)
  18. Is this the page that you tried to download from? http://www.boltbait.com/pdn/codelab/ The download works for me.
  19. Maximum dimension allowed is 800 pixels. ======================================= You can crop/resize to make the images fit, and add a direct link to the full-size image, if you want.
  20. This should work for you to separate the large image into smaller pieces. Sprite Sheet Helper
  21. Alpha Mask Import Plugin
  22. According to the crashlog your Paint.NET is still v3.36.
  23. Due to problems with Windows Clipboard it is "normal" for alpha to paste as white occasionally. It sounds like you're saying that this happens every time for you. If Paint.NET has shown this type of pasting alpha as white every time since you first installed Paint.NET, then running PdnRepair.exe may help. Program Files/Paint.NET/PdnRepair.exe
