  1. Hi ho, hi ho.... It's been a blast working with these guys to create this plugin. As part of the development team, I can HIGHLY recommend it! It's a fantastic tool, especially if you have a large collection of effects installed.
  2. Correct. It's a fairly large project that I have just offered to undertake. I previously assisted with a rewrite the website contents, and of course have a little experience writing about Paint.NET (Mastering Paint.NET 3.5.10 - see link in my sig). I'm not sure if the new material will be rolled out incrementally or published in one go.
  3. Sometimes we just need a little time to get used to the new bits
  4. Your system specs look fine. Very similar to mine. You should be Ok with that. Have you tried turning off Settings > User Interface > Hardware accelerated rendering ? Look for the icon in the top right hand corner.
  5. Not on this forum. You want to give us some more detail? Perhaps these are real bugs. Perhaps these are just settings. Without your system specs and some idea of the file(s) you're trying to open we have no idea what's going on. The UI is a very gentle progression IMHO. What do you have an issue with?
  6. I've provided a translation and split this from the other thread. @joanpinya: Please use English on the forum - even a translation will do. You should try the conical gradient option. It allows you to make a circular gradient around a given point. Cropping should allow you to select just the part of the gradient you want.
  7. I'm not sure what's being asked here. The Status Bar gives you the position of the mouse cursor, so this gives you the start point of a drawn line. Click and drag the line until you reach the end point. Also given by the Status bar. If you don't alter the control nubs you'll end up with a straight line between the two points.
  8. This thread is years old. Please start this discussion again by creating a new thread. Thanks.
  9. Same author. Same title. Same result. How are we supposed to tell them apart? Create a new PB account & upload a new set of images. To encourage you to do so I could lock this thread....
  10. Why not just refresh the images in your original? http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?/topic/16243-splintered-avatarssigs-tut/
  11. I didn't check them all. Some filetypes and a handful of rarely used effects didn't get the treatment. As David said - please let us know if you find one that doesn't work.
  12. I'm happy with a bit of French. Some users might find it bewildering. Surround, Border, Margin or Inner Frame would be acceptable English alternatives.
  13. Asked for many times. So much so that it's in the ... Popular Feature Requests See: Scrolling past the edge of the canvas when zoomed in As this feature request is well answered in that thread, I'm going to close this thread.
  14. @Rick: Is this going to become an option for users, or should we bookmark and recommend your post above?
  15. Post your crash log here. Also give us the contents of your clipboard after you run Settings > Diagnostics > Copy to Clipboard.
  16. Such as? Examples please.... You should note that upgrading does not remove any effects. You might have one or two compatibility issues with plugins built for 3.5.11 when you upgraded to 4.0. You should have NONE when upgrading 4.0 to 4.0.1.
  17. Here's a few options: 1. Press Ctrl + Shift + Z (Rotate/Zoom). Rotate the roller-ball control about a bit. The outer ring rotates the layer. 2. Oblique plugin 3. Perspective Effect Of course there are loads more options than this quick preview image shows.
  18. I'm not sure this thread is in the right place. It feels more like a question about recreating the image than a Gallery post. Moved to Paint.NET Discussion & Questions.
  19. Why not use a custom brush? There is an awesome plugin in this plugin pack Simon Brown's Plugins
  20. Embarrassing? That so many people worked so hard for so long to give you a great piece of software free?? Your sense of entitlement is appalling.
  21. Thanks for posting your system specs Zu. For future reference, an image is not as easy for Rick to copy as text. This is why Cc4FuzzyHuggles wrote (my emphasis) Once the text is copied to the clipboard you can paste it into a post between {Hide} {/Hide} tags.
