  1. Advanced Tools - LFC4EVER The most awesome collection of tools ever produced for PDN. No, not really. Actually - an Aprils Fools joke
  2. actually RB Whitakers wiki page has a ray tracer. I'm not sure he ever completed that one. edit wrong set of notes ciao OMA
  3. In Paint.net there are so many ways to do things. all depends on the image you are working on. here is another method that I sometimes use. (most times I use Welsh's method as I like gradiant colors in letters) this method gives solid color letters and maintains your spacing. type your word in the color you want first letter/s to be. (do on a transparent layer) dup layer of your word use Ed Harvey color flip for second color required. and then adjust the hue. go back and erase out the first leter on this second layer repeat across if you want more colors.
  4. now this is really spectacular.!!!!! You've just moved to a new level of abstracts. I can see this hanging in a uptown gallery. wonderful work ciao OMA
  5. lovely work Sokagirl. I think this is the fun of using polarinversion. " the little images within images that result. " I'm looking forward to seeing how you capitalize on this now. ciao OMA

  10. I'm not to into aime so can't really critique too much there. one thing I did notice is that you've not added your name anywhere, I rather thought sigs should identify who was using them. good to see you adding more work here. look forward to watching you grow as a Paint.net artist. ciao OMA
  11. sokagirl I like this one as well, and I'm not usually into dark art. I have a feeling that this one would really take on another life if you made those reflective spheres like sargon showed us on the other forum. The reflections would really jump off the page if you converted this over. Give you even more mileage out of an outstanding abstract. ciao OMA

thanks you very much yellowman for the comments you left here and more detailed message on other forum. I appreciate the feedback. ciao OMA often when I'm getting ready to do a detailed semi realistic piece I set my self up with an abstract to clear the mind of distractions. this one I've named Restore.

thanks AFG another try at a mystical sky style will be on the agenda for later in the month. After I complete my next item on my 10 must try list for 2010. I'm in process of doing 4th personal challenge work. It may not be as impressive to those not familiar with the paint.net program ... but I'm sure there will be others that recognize the work involved to figure it out. thanks for the tip on the leaves Helen. I knew something was off but I'd been looking at it far too long. Only wish I'd been working from an unflattened tree image. Goonfella made me laugh with his grape description. (I was eating a bunch of grapes when I was working on the update) wonder what mr Sigmund Freude would make of the subliminal thought process. Barbieq thanks ever so much. ciao OMA
  14. looking forward to how you treat the hair > or other topper. I recall one of my first face images I used sinwaves for corkscrew kink dreds. you are so talented and have a fantastic quirky artistic sense I'm hoping for an unusual innovative treatment. ciao OMA
  15. Wes you are partially correct the 500 x 150 is for sigs art in the pictorium its 800 wide by 600 @Sokagirl lovely work I truly love the blue one. it reminds me of a spaceship. Tribal prayer is so peaceful. job well done. ciao OMA
  16. absolutely marvelous image. The name is spot on! ciao OMA
  17. guess all my work has been ruined. there's at least one in every picture I do. some have many and I mean more than 10. Yes there are some in the dragon. #3 should read polar inversion should be treated as just one tool in making an effect not an effect all by itself. If you are going to use it in an image make sure I can barley tell where you've used it  . ciao OMA
  18. I think it might be. As far as I recall its 500 wide by 150 high. Its mentioned in the rules you could just recheck there. here's the link to the forum rules see #15 viewtopic.php?f=20&t=3446 wouldn't be a bad idea to read them all. Makes it easier to navigate around so you don't step on anyones toes. ciao OMA
  19. looks like it could possibly be curves+ found in Pyrochilds plugin pkg.
  20. as David said an example would be best. would something like this be what you are looking for ?
  21. you didn't say he made sure he unzipped that download are any of the other plugin in the pkg showing up? if not he may have run into the problem I had when I first started. My computor unzipped and put them within another file inside effects I had to copy them from the file my computor made automatically and paste direct into effects. also as EER pointed out Bolt Baits plugins require a reboot of computor before they show up. if those are not the problems the standard proceedure is to post a note in BoltBaits plugin download thread and he will help you out. I see you said he has latest version of paint.net but does he also have latest version of plugin pkg? they need to be done manually. ciao OMA
  22. he probably doesn't have boltbaits pkg of plugins installed. as they are what shows up under selection. tell him to download boltbaits pkg .... his effects list will auto fix to show selection then. edit for some reason that link will not show up. I tried re copying it here http://image.wetpaint.com/image/3/GEisQ ... D6Vg148326 ciao OMA
  23. yummy burger! good one for sure the pencil and paper one is really nice but the milk and cookies on the table is fab. great job. ciao OMA
  24. Is it me ..... I don't see a bug, I see beautiful a peach and butter yellow colored butterfly. lovely colors! I like this combination I think maybe I just might slip that color scheme into a picture. great Job. ciao OMA
