  1. Thanks! I'll check it out. EDIT: Yeah, that clear button is messed up. *digs around* I'm thinking that bug's been in there for a while... OK, I fixed that bug and updated the dll on my site: http://boltbait.googlepages.com/codelab BuzzKill, please update and let me know if it fixes the problem for you.
  2. Really? What version of Paint.NET are you running? I built this with the latest 3.0 references.
  3. OK, I fixed all the bugs/enhancement requests in CodeLab. Download the "Alpha 2" CodeLab here: http://boltbait.googlepages.com/codelab I figured, if I'm going to start writing my own UI's for the scripts I write, I might as well start by fixing CodeLab...
  4. Perhaps, if you showed us an example of what you want to create, someone would be able to help you.
  5. Probably because I didn't know any better. Glad I could help.
  6. I have written a plug-in that does this very thing... Object Reflection Plugin. Enjoy.
  7. Sorry, this is not possible. The subject line has a limited length. This would make it too long.
  8. Just a thought, Black and White don't need to be seen (or even included) in the palette as there is a button that select Black and White for you. I like the idea of creating a portable palette file. I think it should actually be a png file with the colors in standard places (like as they are shown). Paint.net could then be able to open the png file and grab the colors and populate the palette from it. This also makes it easy to display and share. I think it would be a good thing to include a few random palette.txt files with the install. I don't think it would be necessary to make them built-in, just include a few .txt files and I think you'd be fine. These palette files should have certain jobs in mind--like cartoons, landscapes, pastels, crayons, shades of gray, etc. Oh, and I don't typically paint with transparent colors. Normally, I would paint with solid colors and modify the trasnparency of the entire layer.
  9. No approval is necessary, however if it is inappropriate or too large, Rick will remove it.
  10. I'm not a big fan of the new default palette. I like it better than your original default palette (which I thought was too simple), but I'm still using my personal palette. For the record, here is the original palette*: Here is the new default palette: Here is the one I use: *You can click on the pictures to see the actual palette file. Or, you can right-click > Save target as... to save them into your My Documents/Paint.NET User Files/Palettes directory.
  11. Gradient is not sticky because that functionality is now built-in to P.N version 3.0. And, what? No love for my latest one, Color Balance?
  12. Just select the area you want to be transparent and press the delete key. You will see a "checkerboard" pattern where the transparent areas are located. Save your file as PNG and your transparent area will be transparent.
  13. Number of plugins that I have written: 11 Number of USEFUL plugins that I have written: ?
  14. If you have purchased a stock photo, you can not give it to other people. That is piracy. Please don't pirate. If you need stock photos, I recommend checking out iStockPhoto. Their prices run from $1 to $15 per photo (depending on the size you need). I have used them on several occasions (at the $4-6 level) and can tell you that the photos are pretty good. And, unlike comstock, you don't need to spend a fortune to get started.
  15. Yeah, I'd check on this in about a week (or a month). He'll probably turn it back on when this "blows over".

  17. I may do a page curl script eventually. I've been thinking about it in the back of my mind for a while now. It just hasn't "bubbled" its way to the front yet. In other words, don't hold your breath.
  18. Yeah, looks like Michael J. Hardy is back to his old tricks. What a thief! The only mystery about "Mysterious Michael" is... why is this guy not in jail :?:
  19. Sure, I used Corel PhotoPaint. Page Curl is built-in. It would have taken too long to recreate a page curl by hand in Paint.net. Remember, it is not a "sin" to use the best tool for the job. Paint.net is improving every day. In fact, until a couple days ago when I wrote the Color Balance script, I always did my color balancing in Corel. However, I am finding myself using it less and less.
