  1. This post breaks rule #3. No one will help you until you fix that. Rules: viewtopic.php?f=20&t=3446
  2. MadJik's plugin pack contains a grid generator. Just put a grid on its own layer so that you can delete it when you are done using it.
  3. Read this: viewtopic.php?f=10&t=23939
  4. pyrochild, I don't know if I ever told you this but... your plugins rock!
  5. I think you can get what you want by using pyrochild's Curves+ plugin. Under the advanced mode, select Luminosity for input and alpha as output. Then, play with the graphical curve. Hope this helps.
  6. You might try my bevel plugin: viewtopic.php?f=16&t=26238 Hope this helps.
  7. oma summed it up perfectly. Just update your plugins and everything will be fine. In the future, if you are having trouble with a plugin, post your problems on that plugins thread in the plugin forum. Closed.
  8. If Simon "said it all"... why are you posting?
  9. I was working on a "photochop" yesterday where I was trying to add a soccer ball... I pasted a ball on a new layer, sized it, and positioned it where I wanted. Then, I pasted a second ball on that layer. While it was selected, I was able to move it so that it partially covered the first ball. It looked great, however it was just a little too big. So, I moved it back to the middle of the canvas and resized it. When I started moving it back over the other ball, I noticed that the transparent area around the ball was now replacing the pixels of the first ball. Resizing the pasted graphic caused the blending mode to change to "replace" instead of "normal blending".
  10. Mix MadJik's water plugin: viewtopic.php?f=16&t=21592 With this tutorial: viewtopic.php?f=15&t=2492 Good luck!
  11. When saving a file, Paint.NET does not update the thumbnail. You could try selecting the entire picture, copy-and-paste to a new image and save. That'll update the thumbnail.
  12. I bet if you did a search for "move selected pixels" you'd find the answer...
  13. Perhaps I should change the name to "Lameography". What do you think...
  14. First, STOP SHOUTING!!! Second, I'm locking this post because you typed your title in all caps. Don't do it again.
  15. BoltBait's handy Sarcasm Guide: BoltBait's posts run the gambit from mildly sarcastic: ...to extremely sarcastic: However, sometimes, he forgets to put sarcasm into his posts and actually gives some good advice: Take note of these post as they are extremely rare and quite valuable. Now, where does this post fit on the sarcasm spectrum? I'll let you be the judge.
  16. Mithos, next time you try taking pictures, I recommend turning on the flash. In the case of these pictures, LJXD has the only viable advice.
  17. The person who took these images should have their camera privileges revoked.
  18. I have several suggestions for you... First, stop shouting. That's just rude. Second, read this thread: viewtopic.php?f=10&t=23939
  19. It was closed because it was just about the worst tutorial ever. ...and, now you've posted this thread in the completely wrong spot.
  20. The best way to reduce blur in a photograph is to take another photograph.
