  1. Bah! I thank you because no one else wrote the wrapper!
  2. Can't wait to see the updated plugin!
  3. Well, I didn't expect you to follow the tutorial EXACTLY. I was hoping you would learn from it and adapt the steps to your own needs.
  4. Remember, the render function is called hundreds of times (at the same time). So, you should check to see if you are working on a specific pixel before proceeding and just return the other times. if ((0 == x) && (0 == y)) { // process your file }
  5. If that is what you want, try this tutorial: viewtopic.php?p=26800#p26800
  6. Please show "before" and "after" examples so that we can look into such a plugin.
  7. This is a family-friendly forum, so be sure that any picture you post is "decent". BTW, search the plugin forum for a plugin called "Toon". Or, you can try the built-in Effects > Artistic > Ink Sketch. That might give you close to what you want.
  8. You might want to study the source code to the Soften Portrait plugin: viewtopic.php?f=16&t=4097 It uses blur as one of the steps.
  9. Here is one I made: 14 frames: It was all hand drawn using the line tool and gradient tool.
  10. Here are some tutorials: http://paintdotnet.12.forumer.com/viewtopic.php?t=5281 http://paintdotnet.12.forumer.com/viewtopic.php?t=5308 http://paintdotnet.12.forumer.com/viewtopic.php?t=6405
  11. You're welcome. Next time, pick a better thread title.
  12. Playing around with UnFreeze, I made this: Lost: That was fun! 8)
  13. Lovely plugin. Just two issues: It doesn't prompt me to specify the delay value for the speed of the animation. and It doesn't ask me if the animation should repeat.
  14. Install my plugin pack viewtopic.php?f=16&t=22819 To make a square around the whole canvas, do this: Press Ctrl-A to select the canvas, Effects > Selection > Outline Selection (Adjust size and color) For an Elipse, use the circle selection tool to draw your selection, refine with the Move Selection tool, then Outline Selection. Now, if you just want to draw a circle, make a selection, then use Effects > Render > Polygon / Stars. Just set "Verticies" to maximum. Adjust brush width, select antialiased, and you should be all set.

  16. There is more stuff scattered throught the thread. I don't like to put everything in the first post. But, thank you for the kind words.
  17. Thanks. My aim with this tutorial was to open your mind to different ways to use the selection modes.
  18. If it is, I hope it's better than this one: http://images.encyclopediadramatica.com ... lycoke.jpg Oh, no! I accidentally the whole thread!
