Eli
Hello cubsterky, Do not download plugins from other websites. You may be downloading infected files. Look at this tutorial on how to create Custom watermarks. Edited October 28, 2015 by Eli
Ego Eram Reputo
It's called PDNWatermark, but it doesn't work with the latest version of paint.net. Elsewhere on the forum I wrote this in order to help someone place a watermark copyright © symbol on an image - this will work for any text based watermark. My simple method:Create a new layer :AddNewLayer:Select Text Tool Type in your text (I use grey primary color like #878787) and then....Hold down the ALT key and type in 0169(When you release the ALT key the © symbol appears :!: )Lower the layers opacity (around 50 to 60 looks about right) so that it looks like a watermarkMerge the layer down & saveHope this helps! If you want to use an image as a watermark, use this technique Easy watermark:1. Create a new layer above your image :AddNewLayer:2. Draw or type anything you want on the new layer. If you want to import an image onto the new layer, you can do that too.3. Press F4 and adjust the opacity slider to make the new layer partially transparent.4. Use Save As... to make a copy. Save it with the *.pdn extension if you wish to preserve the layer structure.5. Now use Save As... again to save your image in the format you desire. Flatten the image if prompted. If you overwrite the original image you can still edit the watermark by changing the *.pdn file . To be safe - I'd leave the original intact (just in case!) 1 1 Quote ebook: Mastering Paint.NET | resources: Plugin Index | Stereogram Tut | proud supporter of Codelab plugins: EER's Plugin Pack | Planetoid | StickMan | WhichSymbol+ | Dr Scott's Markup Renderer | CSV Filetype | dwarf horde plugins: Plugin Browser | ShapeMaker

doughty
Seerose, try using the numeric keypad to the right of the keyboard. Red ochre
Seerose, some (very few) fonts can not display © when pressing ALT+0169. Doesn't work for me either! http://www.alt-codes.net/copyright_alt_code.php My laptop doesn't have a separate numbers pad and neither Alt, AltGr, Shift nor Ctrl seem to work? I'll just keep randomly pushing buttons till something happens! © There is a built in windows tool called 'character map'. Type that into search, select©, then copy...use the text tool in Pdn then go to edit/paste and the © appears! Not very elegant. 1 Quote Red ochre Plugin pack.............. Red ochre
I can't see a num lock key on my laptop keyboard ☺I do have a 'real' USB keyboard if needed but I've set up a short cut to Character map, which seems to work. I should have recommended this too http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?showtopic=10684 ῧ Quote Red ochre Plugin pack..............
