Aysel
Hello everyone, I was wondering if it is possible to replicate, emulate, or make images like this one.
pdnnoob
That is a fractal. It was probably created with a program called "Apophysis" or something similar. Replicating it in Paint.net would be extremely difficult. Quote No, Paint.NET is not spyware...but, installing it is an IQ test. ~BoltBait Blend modes are like the filling in your sandwich. Cc4FuzzyHuggles
Wow, what a very cool picture. I would love to make something like that too. However, even though paint.net is a great program, perhaps that image is a bit too extravagant for someone to make right away. Nevertheless, if you do enough tutorials you could gain decent experience to still produce something very cool. I would suggest you learn how to install plugins (if you don't know how already), after you know how to instal plugins head over to the tutorial section of this forum and start having fun. Here are links & suggestions for you : -------------------------------- How to install plugins : http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?/topic/1708-how-to-install-pluginsgeneral-plugin-troubleshooting-thread/ This new and very easy tutorial is about smoke, but the technique could be used for an outer space scene too. http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?/topic/28094-smoke-effects-no-plugins/ Here is a tutorial on a star scape : http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?/topic/15887-starscapes/ Here are a few shiny tutorials that I personally like : http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?/topic/17235-glowy-swirl-tutorial/ http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?/topic/22896-glowing-sphereorb/ And custom brushes mini might be of interest to you as well. skullbonz
It takes time and many experiments to make a pic like that in PDN. I have been using PDN for a little over three years and just starting to get near this level. There is no easy way to make these or a plugin to do it for you in PDN but then again I don't think TR has tried to make a fractal generator plugin yet, lol. Get to know the plugins and program,do some of the tutorials, experiment a lot and don't get frustrated. I came close to one of these once using a free cracked paint texture from texturemate. SAND33P
Just to chime in my bit, with a few brushes, allot of time and some rapid copy and paste skills, i reckon that would take one with experience a few hours to bring to a presentable stage
