Josh Tickle Posted May 23, 2012 Posted May 23, 2012 Hi, I use paint.net for painting skins in rFactor V1. However, when I download images with a clear background they are horizontal and can't be changed. I can solve this by going into a program like word but it sets the transparency to white and then it's a pain to remove afterwards. I think you can rotate images in Adobe Photoshop but it would be handy in paint.net. Cheers, Josh Quote
pdnnoob Posted May 23, 2012 Posted May 23, 2012 (edited) You can rotate images by going to "Layer>Rotate/Zoom" or pressing ctrl+shift+z. EDIT: or select all (ctrl+a) and right click and drag with the move tool (black pointer) Edited May 23, 2012 by pdnnoob Quote No, Paint.NET is not spyware...but, installing it is an IQ test. ~BoltBait Blend modes are like the filling in your sandwich. Rick Brewster Posted May 23, 2012 Posted May 23, 2012 Rotation is better accomplished with the Move Selected Pixels tool. See the status bar for the help text that describes how to rotate. (I really should just remove Rotate/Zoom) Quote The Paint.NET Blog: https://blog.getpaint.net/ Donations are always appreciated! https://www.getpaint.net/donate.html
pdnnoob Posted May 23, 2012 Posted May 23, 2012 Rotate/zoom is really nice for repeating movements. Also, it has the 3D rotation thing that I use for just about every 3D text I make Quote No, Paint.NET is not spyware...but, installing it is an IQ test. ~BoltBait Blend modes are like the filling in your sandwich. Ego Eram Reputo Posted May 23, 2012 Posted May 23, 2012 Rotate/zoom is really nice for repeating movements. An excellent case for keeping it! ...the 3D rotation thing... minners71 Posted May 23, 2012 Posted May 23, 2012 And that concludes today's sly non-scientific poll ... LOL I was worried there I use rotate/zoom a lot as well. Quote
Rick Brewster Posted May 24, 2012 Posted May 24, 2012 Using the move selected tool, hold down shift as you right click and it rotates in 15 % increments This also works in Rotate/Zoom, btw. Although it seems to go in 45 degree increments. Quote The Paint.NET Blog: https://blog.getpaint.net/ Donations are always appreciated! https://www.getpaint.net/donate.html
