Setting size of new canvas

Recommended Posts

Create a blank canvas with the correct dimensions & save it somewhere you can easily access it (800x600template.pdn is a great way to explain what the template does). When you open that file with PDN the size will be perfect.

Remember to use "Save As...," so you don't overwrite your template. I tend to use the "Save As...," immediately upon opening so I don't forget later - you also get the opportunity to really think about the filename!

With Win7 you can take full advantage of the jump list. Save the size template you want. For example I save it to my Projects File. Then next time you want to open PDN right click on the icon on the taskbar and all your latest projects will be listed. Just pick the template and it opens with that ready to use. No resizing. Also you can pin it to the list so it will always be there. :)
