odeho19
Here is my 1st and 2nd shots at this. I think they came out alright, I just can't decide which one I like better. Here is the original shot: Here is my 1st attempt, w/o any color in the rosebud: And here is the 2nd attempt with color in the rosebud: I hope you all like 'em. I don't know if I used the "effects" properly or not because I think they aren't as vivid as they were originally. They look nice, but I don't think that they have that "pop" that maybe they could. sicknote45
I'd reccomend lowering the saturation of the layer that keeps the color to make it less of a WOW THAT LOOKS LIKE IT WAS CUT AND PASTED sort of effect

Ego Eram Reputo
No need to shout (please don't type all in capitals). You need to alter the Tolerance in the Tool Bar once the Magic Wand is active. david.atwell
This is a fantastic tutorial, but unfortunately the image host for the screenshots has decided to replace the images with ads, so I've snipped out the images and locked & unpinned the tut. OP: Please contact me if you'd like to replace the images, and we'll reopen and repin the tutorial. Quote The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior...
