BoltBait
Does anyone around here know how to make a true type font? I'm looking for someone who has actually made one. What (preferably free) tools do I need to use? Quote Download: BoltBait's Plugin Pack | CodeLab | and a Computer Dominos Game
Ego Eram Reputo
I've not used it, but this one instantly sprang to mind https://fontforge.github.io/en-US/ Looks like a nice graphical interface. toe_head2001
Looks like a nice graphical interface. Couldn't be further from the truth. It's GUI is horrible. It works though, that's what's important. Quote (September 25th, 2023) Sorry about any broken images in my posts. I am aware of the issue. BoltBait
The font I want to make is just icons. So, no kerning required. BTW, I'm not looking for a quick Google search (I could do that). I'm looking for someone who has successfully done this. So I can know what to expect. Zagna
I remember trying fontforge years ago on cygwin... it was quite easy at least that particular version. Oh yeah.... I was working on a comic font for a webcomic translation site I was in years ago and I added umlauts and other such accents to the font we used. Looks like it has changed quite a bit. It was just as easy as Inkscape back then.
