Mike Ryan
If you want it to look like a real pencil sketch, then you are going to have to quite literally use a pencil and trace it

oma
I've had good luck doing this with the old toon plugin. change to black and white and doing several layers at multiply. that might suit your picture if other pencil method doesn't work for you. LFC4EVER
 How did you do that?! ☆★☆★Merry Christmas★☆★☆ .::.My Gallery.::.Make Gold Text!.::.
BoltBait
 How did you do that?! Easy. Took, like, 5 minues. First, clone stamp out your "Before" text. Next, run Adjustments > Black and White and make 3 copies of the image. On the top layer, Effects > Noise > Add noise, Effects > Blurs > Motion blur, Effects > Photo > Sharpen(20) four times. F4 > Overlay. On the middle layer, Effects > Artistic > Ink Sketch (color to 0). F4 > Multiply. On the bottom layer, Adjustments > Brightness & Contrast (adjust contrast way down). Layer 1 gives your nice pencil shading lines. Layer 2 gives your sharp edges. Layer 3 gives your image mood. Finally, flatten the image and Adjustments > Brightness & Contrast to taste. Easy? EDIT: Had I spent more time on this, I would have done the ceiling and floor a different direction (motion blur) from the cabinets and walls. BoltBait
OK, floor and ceiling "shaded" different directions: Still could have been better, I guess. The question still remains, however, does this technique satisfy Atze Peng? BoltBait
How about this one? It uses Effects > Stylize > Outline instead of Effects > Artistic > Ink Sketch for the middle layer. LFC4EVER
I think and will always think that Boltbait's version was better, but if Atze Peng wanted to achieve the effect that i came up with, then thats his choice. ☆★☆★Merry Christmas★☆★☆ .::.My Gallery.::.Make Gold Text!.::. Hi @BoltBait, Looking for a sketchnote border, I found this old post. Could you share any tips to add a border in a sketch style (like I can do with draw.io) using Paint.NET ? Thanks a lot !
