  1. Wow, Sorry that I missed replying before now, thank you all very much. I knew someone would catch that Goonfella Yes it is Red I've kind of become addicted to Tr's Third Dimension plugin as you can see in my latest additions. I call it TR's Third Dimension Mania because I can't stop it from taking over my life.
  2. This plugin is like a box of chocolates,,you never know what yur gonna get. Just had to show these two, I'm really liking the mesh mode and have done a little mixing on these. The second one was a heart, lol, so call it the Heart Planet. The first one is Butterfly Reef. Thanks TR, I'm getting hours of fun with this right now.
  3. Both of those are pretty cool Nitenurse and Pixey. I don't see a lady Pixey, but pink is a lady like color, lol. I see a cool nebula.
  4. Cool plugin TR, I can see many possibilities with this. Here is my first play around with it, Red's Cobweb spiders in TR cages. All the images are great but Goonfella takes the prize with his Cabbage Patch, awesome image, looks like an alien patch.
  5. I think I remember that one from an old John Wayne movie, lol. I suppose I could use one of the thousands of quotes that people post on facebook.
  6. I'll be back! --- Arnold schwarzenegger About the extent of my quote knowledge, lol
  7. May I break in with this? I started out with a ring of colors, used Facet on it went went beserk from there.
  8. Love your pictures Red. When I look at them they bring back flashbacks from my 60's and 70's tripping with the hippies days. Did you use to make pictures for High Times? Oh and I dl Facets last night, looks cool, going to try it tonight.
  9. I like the Porsche, almost ready to drive, lol, nice job. A little more transparency on the windshield reflection perhaps?
  10. Thanks Red, I use image stabilization Thanks Helen, that's what I keep trying to do and it's getting harder and harder. Thanks Pixey, copy it and put on the mantle. And no I did not use the gears and wheels plugin, all were from scratch on the old version of pdn using old plugins and is something that would be very difficult or impossible with the new version. I did however use Red's Cobweb and Fur Blur on Gradient Bars to make the grass in the finished picture. It rained all day yesterday so I had a bunch of free time on my hands and finished the train. I call it " Old Lucky 7 retired to a lucky place. " The bell was pretty tricky but I did it using Shape 3D and the Bulge plugins. All together before I merged all the layers I had 64 layers and a 4000x3000 size, my biggest project yet and my quad core computer sure felt it. I cheated on the sky though,it's a photo.
  11. Thank you Barbie, been having fun with it. I had said a while back that I was working on a train and wanted to show you all how it's coming along. I have over 40 layers so far and I am far from being done. This is the hardest project that I have worked on yet and have been working on it off and on for several months now while I figure out how to make all the parts. I am very happy about how it is starting to shape up and there is no way I could have done this with the new version of pdn. It will be an old steam engine sitting on an old track that isn't used anymore so it should look pretty cool when I am done. (gallery link under sig)
  12. I used the freeform tool quite a bit in the old version, miss that one when I attempt to use the new version. More shapes in the new version, but don't work like the old version, miss that too. I know someone might get on me about that comment and have good intentions but in my case the new version sets me back a couple years in producing my images and adding more hype about it won't change that.
  13. Why is it with updated programs that are made to be easier actually get harder to use and take more steps?
  14. Thank you Daniels. I am having so much fun I added three more in the photo mixing set. The sky = Hubble space pics, The ground = Local pics of my own.
  15. Reduce the size of the image or increase the canvas size. It won't work on a full size image that fills the whole canvas.
  16. I already figured that one out,lol I know,I should have added some drop shadow. I first made all the pictures with the Polaroid plugin and resized them all to about the same size and saved as png's. To do this just start with your background picture with the plugin at defaults except for maybe rotation. Then add another layer, open the plugin and add another png and this time reduce the count to about 20-25. Now add another layer, do the same but reduce the count and shrink max a little at a time until you like it. Repeat for all other layers. No need for more engineering for this one.
  17. Upgrading to windows 8 and pdn 4 at the same time would make me jump off a bridge.
  18. Thanks Tr, I can see this is going to take some getting used to like the new version of pdn. Yep,that is my youngest grandaughter out of three and there is another on the way. Hope this one is a grandson though, getting outnumbered with girls, lol.
