  1. There is a tool to do that: It works the same as the move tool:
  2. This is what I do, and I think it is the easiest way. Make your selection flatten the image (ctrl + shift + f) copy selection (ctrl + c) undo flatten (the undo button) and paste the selection on whatever layer you want it. Hope this helps and welcome to the forums!
  3. Sorry for the DP. new predalien sig. Tried to make it look like it was turning 'invisible' like the predators do. Just a twist.
  4. That is very cool! The center part looks really good how you made it look pointed.
  5. I really like it too. Very cool how everything has that yellow glow. You did a great job around the edges of the screen!
  6. Congrats to all! I wish I had had time to make an entry for this one.
  7. I've been wanting to enter this for a while:
  8. Thanks J.D.! I had already tried the tutorial without changing anything, but I really wanted to see if I could make other shapes and objects with it. I'm glad you like it!
  9. It looks really cool, and it reminds me of something, but i cant remember what... anyway, very interesting! I like the colors too! BTW: nice smileys!
  10. yeah, I had some free time... @welshblue: Its interesting, I did that one the same way as the others, except I inverted the colors (black and white) on one of the layers... Thanks for your praise, and I'm glad you like em! @chrisco: I'm glad you like them too. Finally!!! A render/stock sig I did right! Thanks for the compliments . @Barbieq: I stole them from the Joker. Ok, so i'm not that great at telling jokes. A for effort? I'm glad you liked that abstract, the story is told above. and I'm really glad you liked the entry. I've gotten 4 podium finishes out of 5 entries! not bad! thanks to you all!
  11. Congrats Possum, Sarkut, Wayne, and everyone else who entered! a lot of great entries!
  12. is awake and alive

  13. Welcome to the forums! I really like the first two. although the red text on the first one is a little hard to read. I really like the border. great start, and i hope to see more from you!
  14. Ha, thanks! and I forgot to post my entry for the lucky thirteen competition I tied for first with barbieq25 and St1cki3
  15. Your 10/23 abstract is good, but simple. maybe just add more.. I like the new one! good movement, colors, and its interesting!
  16. I was doing so well...
  17. I cant single out a favorite, I like them all! Your works have been a great source of inspiration for me.
  18. nice space scape! I can tell you didnt blur the nebulous overlay layer though, that would help reduce the 'roughness' in the stars. Great work! I think I found a solution to the problem of the sharpness of the stars too, I send you the update...
  19. Nice tutorial! A little confusing on the last picture, until I realized you duplicated the text layer and set layer properties to color burn. It was very interesting how you blurred the text and ran AA's assistant. I will use that method whenever I use text in the future. here is my outcome (I had a little fun with the background):
  20. Dang! I'll have to try even harder next time!
