  1. Very nice and shiny! I like how the grey background makes all of the other colors POP!
  2. you could try: layers > rotate/zoom This really wouldnt be quick, but it is an option.
  3. Ha! OK. You just made me hungry, I think I'll go get something to eat as well!
  4. Should the awards just be general awards, nothing specific? Because you are going to combine your competitions into one, would it be a bad thing to make, for example, awards with planets, or anything else that is specific to a certain competition?
  5. By bright, I think I meant saturated, then again I really dont know what I meant! Still trying to get some sort of inspiration for a larger artwork. Here is a space scape celebrating the first day of Christmas!!! http://i916.photobucket.com/albums/ad10/HeatStroke99/space/christmas_downsized.png better version on DA
  6. very nice sig, the lighting ended up perfect! one of your best!
  7. New sig and the full version, just for the heck of it. I have a feeling that this sig has the same problem that I guess the general sig has: its too bright. I might lower the saturation on both by 75 (?) or so. http://i916.photobucket.com/albums/ad10/HeatStroke99/photomanipulations/Plymouth-Fury-Christine-full.png
  8. I love the beach and the picture under it as well! Awesome work! To put a link at the bottom of your sig, click on the 'insert link' button when you are editing your sig. To edit your your first post so you can add or organize pictures, just click edit at the bottom of the post. If you want to change the name of your gallery, click on full editor. Also, an easy way to create thumbnails that go to the image, and not photobucket is: go to the 'other styles' menu and go to the very bottom 'thumbnail' option. Paste the direct link of the image in it. It will end up like this: http://i1143.photobucket.com/albums/n633/dug10/seascapea.png I hope to see more from you! BTW: your entry to the abstract of the week dreaded P.I. made me laugh! Very creative!
  9. I like the effects and color scheme! The only thing is what chrisco said, I dont really know what I'm looking at... Too dark? I personally dont think so. But thats my opinion. Great work!
  10. Thanks chrisco! @stone: The border for the lambo sig was just too bright of a color. I choose a prominent color of the sig to make the border that color, then I darken it a lot. I guess I didnt darken it enough. any suggestions for an alternate text on the general lee sig?
  11. Thanks Rachel :)! I worked hard on it, and regretfully I am 3 awards behind :(. Sorry I didn't reply sooner, but I have the notices turned off. I had them on, but my email got 20 + messages a day and it was getting overwhelming!

  12. Thats because it is the dukes of hazard dodge charger: stock I tried to make the debris on the front of the car make sense, so I tried to keep some of the features of the barn in the sig. Dont know if any of it makes sense, but oh well.
  13. I honestly dont mind what the theme is, I am completely fine with c4ds and other renders. That would make it more open and thus the possibilities even more endless!!!
  14. Oh, and new sig that I made this morning, and forgot to post: I havent had any real inspiration for a full sized artwork in a long time, hence all the sigs! Just little artworks to fill in time till I get a great idea.
  15. I guess I'll enter something I made this morning for a good friend of mine:
  16. Too bright, I think I can still fix that... Thanks!
  17. I think it would be a great challenge to do it 100% PDN, and still end up with an interesting sig. That would be a good theme I think! Even if that isnt the next theme, I'm gonna try it anyway!
  18. Thanks everyone! new sig, I held off posting this so I could improve it, but I just forgot. Plus, Even though I received a few great ideas from some people (stone85), I still cant decide on what to do. I figured out that the 'feathering' in the bottom left corner is there because I blurred the background A LOT. This blurred it away from the edges. And I dont have any other effects in that corner, so that is why it looks weird. Problem solved, now I just have to figure out what to do with it. Anyway, here it is:
  19. Ella: That is stunning! Just beautiful! Well done, and I look forward to seeing a gallery from you! Tiharo: very creative! Although I think it would look better if the left side of the 'pill' was tinted green like the background. Just a suggestion.
  20. Looks awesome in my opinion! I like everything!
