  1. Very nice background! I really cant decide which version I prefer, they're both really good...
  2. This really helps with inspiration... Domination - Good health has vanished
  3. Thanks Rockandroll, Im glad you like them! @Drydareelin: I'll take that as a compliment. Thanks! St1ck3, thanks a lot! I am still making fractals, just not as much... @Helen: Thank you, yeah the power of PDN surprised me with this one. I tried the tutorial in PDN just to see if I could, and it was easier than I thought! Thank you Yellowman, it means a lot. And thank you Barbieq, I hope I continue to have the time to visit this forum...
  4. Well I owe you both an apology for never responding to your comments. 2011 did not go well for me and I had to limit my computer free time to get stuff done. This year has just gotten better, but probably not for long. Here is something new..ish. It was a while ago, but its my most recent 100% PDN work. I usually combine PS and PDN along with Apo7x. You can see all those on my DA http://fc08.deviantart.net/fs70/f/2011/219/1/7/17529a4b079d5891391dd8b08a9c36d1-d45s2hh.png Based on this Illustrator tutorial. Which proves you dont need a vector program to make something like this. Thats all the rambling I will do for now. Thanks for reading.
  5. You have a lot of great artworks! It was a pleasure looking at all of them, even the ones you have already posted on DA.
  6. Yup, great manips! I agree with Dug and Helen!
  7. Thank you both for your very kind words! They really mean a lot to me! Welsh, I noticed that the two colors I keep gravitating to are red and blue... I will make an honest effort to make my next piece green.
  8. Thank you both! So very sorry for not being active on this sight for such a long time. I've been a little more active on Fans and DA. Hopefully I can get more active here. I am loving the fractal world right now! Here are some new updates. The full stories of inspiration and such is on DA. Oldest on top, newest on bottom: http://fc04.deviantart.net/fs71/i/2011/156/1/9/waves_by_heatstroke99-d3i4cwy.png http://fc09.deviantart.net/fs70/f/2011/156/b/1/b1e7fa0cd8715875befda60a421d18ad-d3i4brm.png http://fc08.deviantart.net/fs71/f/2011/163/b/c/bc66d39fb20bc0c8bacc4e4a3c131656-d3iptlp.png http://fc02.deviantart.net/fs71/i/2011/159/8/3/celestial_explosion_by_heatstroke99-d3iegz7.png http://fc08.deviantart.net/fs70/i/2011/159/e/5/celestial_rain_by_heatstroke99-d3ieb5t.png http://fc06.deviantart.net/fs70/i/2011/170/f/f/death_of_something_beautiful_by_heatstroke99-d3jbgoj.png http://fc08.deviantart.net/fs70/i/2011/183/7/c/laser_show_by_heatstroke99-d3kql2i.png http://th05.deviantart.net/fs70/PRE/i/2011/180/2/c/pop_fizzz_by_heatstroke99-d3khgma.png All of these are originally created with Apophysis 7x, then manipulated, mutilated, and utterly mangled with PDN. a lot of them are a combination of multiple fractals and a lot of PDN work.
  9. Heat Stroke, how on Earth did you make your sig? It's EPIC :D!

  10. What, really?! A well deserved win! Amazing entries, congrats to all!
  11. Great job on your game so far! I look forward to seeing more!
  12. Are you sure your cropping it correctly? I use the rectangle select tool and draw a selection. Which you can always modify with the white arrow tool . Then you can use the keyboard shortcut ctrl + shift + x to crop to the selection.
  13. Great work with the gears! I like the rusty look they have!
  14. Wow! that is so cool! I cant believe how real it looks! Amazing job!
  15. Great new image! I love what you did with the Yamaha symbol!
  16. Welcome Mr. Man! I have found that google searching "___ tutorial" can give you a lot of results! I have found MANY asteroid tutorials for photoshop, and most of them are very easily translated to PDN. Just because it is a photoshop/gimp/etc tutorial, doesnt mean you cant use it for PDN. Glad your here and I hope you open a gallery so we all can see your works!
  17. You have some really nice artworks in here! The GIF is VERY well done! Something that might make that effect a little more extreme is adding some noise in some of the frames. I look forward to seeing more from you!
  18. WOW! I love the 4th version! I really like monotone colors, but that may just be me...
