I like the abstract sigs way better than the render sigs. if stone's had been up against another render sig, it probably would have won for me, but mayors is better in my opinion. Mayor:2 stone:0

when i choose the size of my font, i click in the text size box (not the arrow) and scroll to the size i want. sometimes though i forget to click on the canvas before typing, and so it types my text in the size box and not on the canvas. that could also be your problem.

im glad you chose to do silver! its a nice change of color. the jewel is fantastic, the background is fantastic, and everything else about it is great! at first i didnt like the red glow around the edges, but now that i look at it again, i dont think its bad at all.

the plugin there are two feather plugins, one is for objects that are not surrounded by anything and are in there own layers. and the other is for selections pay attention to the link in red to blur just go to effects>blur>Gaussian blur. the plugin pack also has a + version in which you can set various blend modes. of course, there are many types of blurs, but i assume you mean the standard "blur", which is probably Gaussian blur. and if you need help installing plugins here you go. hope this helps! and welcome to the forum!

i use the magic wand tool . try adjusting the tolerance to different levels to select more or less variants of the color you click on. you can also press ctrl while clicking and it adds to what is already selected. im pretty sure that is the best way to do it. if three are some areas that it doesnt work, you could use the lasso tool as well. as far as i know, something like this only came up once before:here once you have what you want selected, im sure you know how to darken it. i hope this helps!

aliased means jaggy. i think i like the first one better than the second one. i dont like the darken line, looks like its cutting his head off. the first one is cool though!

nice tutorial. not too specific, i like the wiggle room. but not too vague. (the screen shots helped). unfortunately, my outcomes were... embarrassing: Hidden Content: this one was soo bad, i didnt even add the C4Ds 100th post!!! and i ruined it with these sigs (if you can even call them that).
