  1. If you press Esc first, will the Eraser tool work? Also, be sure that the top layer is highlighted as the active working layer.
  2. OK, so it actually is going awfully well. I thought that was sarcasm. Cool. I would make an entry if there was not a tagline/description requirement.
  3. Sozo says that he made an entry. I don't see any entries in the entry thread.
  4. What happened to Sozo's entry?
  5. There's no zipfile. but you can right-click/Save them.
  6. The easy way: Use Full Editor > Other styles > Hide
  7. Each player can have their tiles on separate transparent layers. The tile can be moved by making a Rectangle selection around it and using the Move Selected Pixels tool. Copy/paste the adjusted layer into a new file, save as PNG, and email it to the other players.
  8. No. Not really. If you want you can copy and save the anchor point area, and use it as a brush in the Custombrushmini plugin. Or you can copy/paste a group of pixels repeatedly.
  9. . AOTW 13 is now closed to additional entries. .
  10. Layers > Rotate / Zoom can be used to correct perspective prior to cropping. There is also a plugin called Perspective.
  11. It's different. Could the sharpening option be added?
  12. Start by making the canvas size big enough for your finished project. Image > Canvas Size ======================= Bring your images in, one at a time, each on its own layer. Layers > Import From File... As you import each image, position it using the Move Selected Pixels tool. ======================= Edit: Before using the text tool, press Esc or Ctrl + D to remove the selection created by importing a layer. ======================= Put the text on its own new (transparent) layer. Layers > Add New Layer ======================= Save as a multi-layer PDN file, so that you can make changes later if you want to.
  13. In the top menu: Image > Resize http://www.getpaint.net/doc/latest/ImageMenu.html
  14. If you have black lines on white, make your gradient on a layer below the lines layer. Set the lines layer Blending mode to Additive.
  15. You can get part of the effect by increasing saturation. Adjustments > Hue / Saturation
  16. In the Layers window click on the top layer. Now make a new (transparent) layer. Press the key Esc on on your keyboard. Activate the Text tool, and try it.
  17. Could you explain a bit more what kind of half-circles you want to make?

  20. Feather Object doesn't come with a True Feather option anymore. This Selection Feather Beta might be a workable substitute: BoltBait downplays it, but it works pretty well to shrink things the way True Feather did. The objects need to be selected first, to use it.
  21. There is a font called Symbols that comes built-in with Windows. It should be in the drop-down font list for the Text tool.
  22. This is based on my belief that you are referring to the drop-shadow effect around the white rounded rectangle. Make the background gradient. On a new layer, make a white rounded rectangle in the size and shape that you want. Duplicate the layer. In the Layers window, click the lower white rounded rectangle layer, then: Adjustments > Invert Colors Next: Effects > Blurs > Gaussian Blur --- Radius: 2 to 4 Press F4, and move the Opacity slider to adjust the darkening effect.
